RELATED INFORMATION
Survey for families in grades 4, 5 and 6
The Alberta Education Assurance Survey is now open. As Pine Street Elementary has less than 120 students in Grade 4 and up, all grades 4, 5 and 6 families will receive the survey in the mail—rather than just Grade 4 families.
In early February, you should have received a letter in the mail from Alberta Education about completing the online survey. I encourage all of you to fill out the survey. It’s completely anonymous and only takes a short time to complete. The results offer Pine Street valuable information that helps inform its school education plan and develop new strategies to further enhance student learning. The survey deadline is March 1, 2024.
In addition to families filling out the survey, so do students and teachers. Throughout February, students in grades 4 to 6 are completing the survey online at the school. As with the parent survey, participation is voluntary and completely anonymous. Students are assigned a random username and password to ensure survey responses aren’t linked to any individual student. The survey also doesn’t take long to complete and is done within the school day during regular class time.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact the school directly.
First Nations' Fridays
“Respect your place and carry your pride wherever you go and praise the accomplishments of all. Do not become arrogant and self-important. Find balance within yourself and all living things.” It is the teaching of the wolf. And all this describes humility.
