ATTENTION IVA ROADRUNNERS! Our Trimester 3 Materials Pick-Up Day is Wednesday, February 24th from 10:00-12:00. Drive up to the front of the school and pick-up the materials for your student located on the table. Like previous pick-ups, materials will be bundled and labeled with your child's name and grade. Some of our IVA teachers will also be here to wave "Hello."

Please take a few minutes to complete our IUSD Annual Survey. Each year, every school in Irvine Unified administers a climate survey. By making this an annual district-wide effort, we can begin to understand our most compelling needs and measure our growth over time.

Obtaining stakeholder feedback regarding school climate and school-community relationship is critical for guiding our continuous improvement efforts. It also allows IUSD to dedicate resources through our Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) to ensure that we serve our students, support our staff, and remain connected to our communities. School Funding Survey – Your Voice Matters

School Choice applications can now be found on our website. The School Choice application allows parents to identify if they would like their child to attend a school other than their neighborhood school. The deadline for submitting a request is February 26, 2020 at noon. If your child is already at Loma on school choice you DO NOT need to complete a new application. If you have any questions about the process, please call our office at 949-404-1400.

Trimester 3 starts on March 1st. Please connect with our Administrative Assistant, April Ryan (aprilryan@iusd.org), this week if you have a model change request along with a rationale. Please note we are at capacity in the majority of grades in the traditional and virtual models at this time. Thus, our capacity to honor requests for those models is limited.

Hi! My name is Meghan Lake. I am so blessed to teach second grade here at Loma Ridge. As a product of IUSD schools, I just love working here. I began my teaching career in 2002 with Orange Unified School District. Throughout my career I have taught from Kinder to 6th grade at 5 different schools. I can attest to what a great community we have here at Loma Ridge! About the same time I started teaching I met and married my husband, Andrew. We live nearby in Rancho Santa Margarita with our 4 children; Annabelle (14), Molly (10), Victoria (4), and Deacon (1). Our house is often loud and crazy but filled with love and laughter. My most important goal as a mom and teacher is that every child knows they are loved and that they can do great things in this world.
