OLMP Catholic School
Weekly Bulletin - September 17, 2023
WE'RE WORKING TO RESOLVE COMMUNICATION SOFTWARE HICCUPS
As you may be aware, Elk Island Catholic Schools changed to a new system over the summer with the intent to refine how schools and parents communicate with each other. You may also be aware that this transition has created some unintended complications for our schools and parents since its September 1 rollout.
Please rest assured that we are aware of this and are working with the software’s development team to resolve these matters.
SchoolEngage is a custom-made software, and what we have implemented so far is not fully representative of the final experience. Additional updates and features will continue to be added in the near future.
In the meantime, please visit the website of your child’s school for up-to-date information.
We apologize for any inconvenience this new rollout has caused, and are thankful for your ongoing patience and understanding.

NO PICK-UP/DROP-OFF FROM STAFF PARKING LOT OR BUS LANE
Dear Parents,
Please make alternate plans for a pick-up/drop-off location as our staff parking lot is no longer available as an option. This area has become far too congested in the past and is an extreme OH & S concern.
*PLEASE STAY CLEAR OF BUS LANES AT THE BEGINNING AND END OF OUR DAY*
Please follow the flow of traffic in the student parking lot on the south side of our building. You will notice that there is no longer a "turn left" option (right turns only) when you exit the parking lot.
Alternatively, please also look at streets/locations other than the alleys that are close to our school where students can safely access our school site.
While we understand that this takes away some convenience, we are concerned about the safety of your children.
Thank you for you attention to this.
