Principal's Message

Legacy Academy Families,

We are in the home stretch for students on Tracks B, C, and D. Please ensure that your student attends school every day as we finish out the school year. Important dates for the remainder of the school year can be found below. If you will be moving or not returning for the 25-26 school year, please notify the office so we can support you with the checkout process.

PTO is excited about our Summer Carnival that is scheduled for June 13th. There is a Signup Genius below for people to volunteer to help with the evening. You can reach out to PTO via email at legacyparliamentpto@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Safety to and from school is very important, so remind your students to walk home directly after dismissal. Our crossing guards are on site 15 minutes before dismissal, and then for 30 minutes after dismissal. If students are not going directly home, they might not have the support of adults in the crosswalks around the campus. Also, make sure to remind your students who walk home to always be aware of their surroundings and not engage with strangers.

As a reminder, please follow all traffic laws during drop-off and pick-up. This includes driving on the correct side of the street, not parking along red curbs, and not double-parking. In addition, dogs and other animals are not permitted on campus, which includes the parking lot and sidewalks within the campus. Thank you for putting student safety over convenience.

Sincerely,

Adrienne Chase

Principal

🌟Building a Supportive Home Environment🌟

A supportive environment is crucial for the success of PBIS. Just as we create a positive atmosphere at Legacy Academy, you can cultivate a similar environment at home.

Strategies for a Supportive Home:

  • āœ… Create a Calm Space: Designate a quiet area in your home where your child can relax or work on homework. A calm space helps reduce stress and fosters focus.

āœ…Encourage Open Communication: Foster an open line of communication where your child feels comfortable discussing their feelings and experiences. Listen actively and provide support.

Together, we can create an environment that promotes positive behavior and emotional well-being for our students! šŸ¦‰šŸ’™

Parking Lot Safety

Help us ensure safety in the parking lots by not parking along a red curb. If your child is unable to get in and out of the passenger side of the car independently, please park in a parking space and help them. The drop-off lane is specifically for students who can get in and out of the car quickly from the passenger side and keep the line moving. The sections of the parking lot specifically marked for parking should not be used as an additional drop-off or pick-up lane. This is not safe for students and also blocks cars trying to use the parking spaces. Parking spaces are the only place you should park your car.
