Activate your New York Times Academic Pass
If you haven’t renewed your New York Times academic pass and would like to, I suggest doing it now. This is never guaranteed. It will ask you to click through or to log in if you have done this previously. Use the "sign in with google" option with your @seq.org address.
Teach your student how to use the Media Center!
Use the video playlist made by our stellar Media Center Ambassador Team to learn how to find books, place a hold, and access information and resources. Our best defense against book bans and censorship is to learn how to find the books and information you need. Share what you learn with a friend!
It's time to change the scribble art wall in the Lobby.
Do you want to be featured on the portrait wall in the lobby? We are still working out the details but there are plenty of ways to be involved in the installation, which will remain in place for the next 4 years. Everyone on the current wall has graduated. Email Ms. Snow to get involved.
Start thinking of a strong quote to overlay on your portrait.
Come to the Media Center where we will take your portrait.
Build your image in the Media Lab next semester.
Try a book challenge!
Want to share a book or media review?
Build our literary community by sharing a review of your favorite book or media as either a literary graphic, video book talk, or use Adobe Express review template. We can't wait to hear about what you are reading! Add your review at bit.ly/shsreview and our ambassador, Becca Rosenberg, will format it and put it on the shelf.
When can I return books?
Books are due when you're done with them! We do not charge fines for overdue books. Still have books from last year? No problem! Return them to the textbook room when its open, or to the book drop if the Media Center is closed.
