Principal's Message
Hello Springwater Students and Families,
Next week is Spirit Week in recognition and celebration of our fall Community Care Day scheduled for Friday, September 30th. Each day has a different theme. We hope to see everyone participate!
Next Friday, September 30th the school will travel to Hogan Butte Nature Park. We will spend several hours in the morning beautifying the park. If you haven't already completed the permission slip, please complete it as soon as possible. Contact the office for more information.
It has been great to see students attending academic support! Keep up the great work and we hope to see more students staying after school as the year goes on. We also have a growing list of clubs that have sprouted up during lunch and after school. Don't see a club that strikes your interest? No worries! Students can create their own! The steps to create a club are in our weekly announcements and students can see the office if they have questions.
I hope everyone has a restful weekend!
Stay safe and take care,
Ryan Blaszak

September Spotlight Students
Daphne Reynolds
Future Plans After High School: Currently, my future plans are not that defined. I have an idea that I want to go into something creative, like writing, baking, maybe welding.
Grade: 9
Interests: I enjoy swimming, reading, and I do a lot of drawing, specifically character design. I do a bit of writing, normally fan fiction.
Favorite subject in school: I’m not quite sure, but currently it would have to be Sculpture.
Favorite thing about STHS: It’s a small school. I already knew a little bit about how the school runs before I came here because my brother went here. He quite enjoyed it. I’m following in my brother’s footsteps.
Kara Cozzetto
Future Plans After High School: Getting a job that deals with plants or nature, maybe art, because I want to start my own business with my mom or my family.
Grade: 10
Interests: Art or anything that has to go with gardening. Anything that’s creative or artsy. I really like video games too. My favorite is Minecraft.
Favorite subject in school: I like Ramsey and I really like the English class for this grade. I also like Creative Writing with Ms. Kruse.
Favorite thing about STHS: That it’s a small school and I have made a few friends here. I really like the community. Everyone is so nice at this school.
Tessa Johansen
Future Plans After High School: I would love to do something art related, maybe go to art school.
Grade: 11
Interests: Surprisingly, art! I like all things art. I’m kind of crafty, I guess you could say. I like drawing, painting, and fabric arts. Fabric arts is working with fabric, yarn, or string.
Favorite subject in school: Maybe English? I like writing and I think an English class is a cool class to have. You can really connect with other students, which I think is kind of neat.
Favorite thing about STHS: I like the attention that’s paid to detail, really making sure student needs are met, and that everyone feels comfortable in the environment.
