We are also offering all students and their special guests a chance to shop The Book Fair together during COOKIES WITH SANTA!!!! Attached you will find a catalog of items that could be at our fair. This is just a representation of things that can be here- a certain title you see in this catalog may not actually be available for purchase. There will also be all sorts of titles here that are not in this catalog. We have books for every interest priced in every price range. Shopping is easy and we will have books to fit every budget. If there is a particular title you are looking for, reach out to me via email at mfraze@hobart.k12.in.us or send in a note with your child so we can try to get it for them. You can sign up for contactless payment options via card called the Scholastic E-Wallet at https://account.scholastic.com/my-scholastic/profile/create-ewallet.html?fairID=5433629&sUCN= 600053330, send in a check made out to the ELC (with a budget of course!) or cash. No matter if you have a large budget for your child, or all you are able to afford is some quarters in a zippy bag- I PROMISE I will find your child a book they will LOVE. I want everyone to be able to enjoy the excitement of shopping The Fair.

The School City of Hobart Building Brickies' goal is to strengthen families by empowering parents as their child’s first and best teachers. Every day, we advocate for families so every child-in every neighborhood-can thrive.
Please update emergency clothes in your child's backpack!
It’s that time of year where the weather is changing. Remember those bags of emergency clothes in your child’s backpack? Please swap out the summer clothes for fall clothing. Please also make sure your child’s emergency bag has socks and underwear in it. If your child doesn’t have a bag in their backpack- please make them one!!! One outfit, one pair of socks, and one pair of underwear. This is for any emergency your child may encounter here at school, not just bathroom accidents. You never know when they may slip in mud or chocolate milk will attack at lunch!!
OH NO!!! YOUR LITTLE BRICKIE ISN'T FEELING WELL?
If your child isn't feeling well, please keep him or her at home. You must report the absence IN SKYWARD before 10:00AM. There is no need to call the school to let us know. If there are any questions about the absence, we will reach out to you.
