STUDENT SECTION
New: EVHS Quarter 1 Fall Conferences
Two ways to connect with teachers about your student's progress!
We will be hosting our Q1/fall conferences this week on Thursday, October 12 and Friday, October 13. In an effort to allow parents/guardians multiple options to connect with teachers, we will be offering two different ways for you to conference with your student's teachers:
· Thursday, October 12 from 5:30pm - 8:30pm
- In-person, drop-in conferences
- No appointments are necessary
· Friday, October 13 from 7:30am - 10:30am
- Scheduled Zoom conferences only (no in-person, drop-in conferences)
- Click here to use PTCFast to pre-schedule Zoom Conference
- Select the teachers you'd like to conference with when you register
- An email will be sent to you allowing you to coordinate Zoom conference times
- A confirmation email will be sent with each teacher's Zoom link all in one email
Both options allow for you to select which teachers you wish to visit with. Conferences with each teacher are limited to approximately five minutes to allow teachers to connect with all parents/guardians in attendance. If a longer conversation or conference is needed, we ask you to schedule that with the teacher for another time.
*Free childcare for younger children will be available on Thursday evening so that you may attend and engage without needing to find or provide care to younger children. No pre-registration is necessary - childcare will be in room C139 starting at 5:30pm on Thursday, October 12.

The Boys Varsity Soccer team arrived in full force on Monday night against conference rival, Lakeville South. During the first half, Eastview goalkeeper Owen Guyette and the entire defense played strong, allowing no goals and ending the half in a 0-0 tie. Eastview's offense took control immediately in the second half; capturing the first goal of the game on a corner kick by Jaydon Singel and headed into the net by Michael Cherevatsky. Less than 3-minutes later, Neftali Rodriguez Bustos scored an unassisted goal, making the score 2-0. Eastview's Frank Jerone, assisted by Kevin Woehler, then sank the 3rd Eastview goal. In the last five minutes of the game, Jaydon Singel passed the ball to Alex Vega for the 4th goal of the game making it a spectacular 4-1 win for the Lightning!
On Tuesday night, the team faced non-conference opponent Bloomington Jefferson. The wind was gusting and the lighting had 5 shots on goal during the first half. Michael Cherevatsky sank a penalty kick 6-minutes into the 2nd half, bringing the score to 1-2 in Bloomington's favor. Working the entire game to sink goals, the Lightning's offense put 10 shots on goal, but fell short with a 1-3 final score. New: EVMB Wins at Champlin Park Rebel Classic
Yeehaw! Git ready to saddle up and get your boots stompin', 'cause the Eastview High School marching band just scored a big win at the 30th annual Champlin Park Rebel Classic!
With their shiny instruments gleamin' in the sun, and their feet kickin' up dust on that ol' football field, this band proved they had the grit and determination of a true cowpoke. Whippin' their flags and rifles like they were ropin' cattle, the color guard dazzled the spectators. Each twirl, spin, and toss had the audience hollerin' with pure admiration.
But it wasn't just about the fancy footwork and mesmerizin' moves. This band had the sound to match their visual spectacle.
The judges couldn't help but be impressed by their performance. The EVMB struck gold winning multiple caption awards: outstanding music, outstanding visuals, and outstanding percussion.
Y'all better dust off them boots and mosey on down to US Bank Stadium on October 14th, 'cause this here's the last rodeo to catch them thunderin' hooves of the EVMB. It's gonna be a sight more mesmerizin' than a wild bronco breakin' free. Giddy-up!
