Greeting MyCamp Parents!
Wow!
The time at MyCamp is flying by - whether it was the fly balls at Ranger Stadium or the well-preserved aircrafts at Dallas Aviation- campers have been soaring to new heights. With only one week left, we're sure campers will leave MyCamp prepared for an awesome new school year. Don't forget to ask your camper about the wonderful learning experiences they had this week. Additionally, we hope that families are enjoy spending time together and doing some of the suggested math and reading activities.
Make sure to scroll down to find next week's school menu.
Finally, these past three weeks have been awesome we wish it didn't have to end. Thank you to our parents and kiddos for allowing us to give them an exciting learning experience thus far!

My Camp hours: 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Last Day of My Camp is June 29th!
Please send your student with their camp shirt to give back on Thursday June 29th!
DISMISSAL / SAFETY REMINDERS:
Parents must have car tags to pick up their students, if you forgot it you may go to the front office and they will issue another one, and your student will be released from there.
If your student is a walker please park on the outside of the street not in the parking lot or pull up to the door to get your student. Walkers must have their car tags as well to be released.
Parents of afternoon bus riders,
Any student who rides the bus home will need to have a parent (or authorized person who picks them up) meet them at the bus door for their child to be released from the bus. Your child’s school will give you an ID tag that you will show at the bus door for pick up.
Students will not be released from the bus if parents/guardians are in their cars waiting. These are extra measures taken to ensure your child's safety.
Week Three Highlights
Students also did some watercolor activities this week.
Students got to learn how to write letters, and we had some of our little ones deliver them through our My Camp Postal Service.
Students have been earning house points this week and we got our house winner which was Isibindi (Green House) totaling with 05 Points! GO ISIBINDI! Our Isibindi friends got to pick out some really cool prizes this week!
Remember,
ALL students must have their camp shirt to go on field trips. Students do not have to bring a lunch for field trip day but if you would like to provide one that is totally fine.

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Lessons
"Social-emotional learning, or SEL for short, is an essential concept within education because it is a framework through which students acquire the skills necessary to navigate through school, working life, and beyond. In particular, the framework helps with self-preservation, self-control, relationship-building, and decision-making." - View Sonic
During My Camp, we provide SEL lessons that will help your student focus and manage their feelings/emotions through stressful situations. Take some time this weekend to ask your student what SEL lessons they learned this week and how they can continue practicing that every day.
