The board unanimously passed the consent agenda. Items were:

• Candidate filing dates of Dec. 5 - Dec. 26 for April 2024 election
• Graduation date of May 21, 2024 at Tiger Stadium. May 22 is the rain date
• Prom venue - Fore Honor Golf and Event Center on April 27, 2024

• Building level reports submitted for High School and Middle School
• Presented PD agendas and surveys from the Oct. 9 & Nov. 1 PD days - February PD day will have a different format. Building PD in the morning. District-wide PD in the afternoon. Staff will have the opportunity to visit various opportunities for professional development. Examples include: retirement, Canva, health & wellness. Topics are still being determined.
• Superintendent's Report - All-staff holiday reception will be Dec. 15. EPA tested the thrower's area at Tiger Stadium. No issues found. Thanksgiving break will be Nov. 22 - 24. Winter break begins with an early out on Dec. 20. This will be a NORMAL START DAY. NO LATE START WEDNESDAY ON DEC. 20.

Facilities Report - Remediation was recently done in rooms 3 & 9 in the elementary school because of a "moldy" smell. Air quality tests were fine, but remediation was done out of an abundance of caution. Classes were relocated during the work. Air quality tests were performed again, and everything was fine. Air tests will be performed again in the spring.
