Students and teachers across Illinois will have an opportunity to participate in the annual statewide Illinois 5Essentials Survey. This survey is designed to generate a detailed picture of the inner workings of your child’s school. As a parent, this opportunity will allow you to share your thoughts on the important elements of school effectiveness in a survey about your child’s school.

The survey gathers data related to five indicators that can predict important student outcomes, including improved attendance and larger test score gains. These five indicators that affect and predict school success are:

• Effective Leaders
• Collaborative Teachers
• Involved Families
• Supportive Environments
• Ambitious Instruction

Your participation in the parent portion of the survey will help us understand the conditions at your child’s school and guide improvement. Your identity and survey responses will be kept completely confidential and will never be connected to you or your child.

An email address is not required but you must complete the County (Dupage) and School (Army Trail School 346 Army Trail Blvd) to start the survey.

***The window to signup for conferences has been extended, please signup before it closes.***

Conferences will be held individually with parents/guardians in 15-minute increments. Conferences can be scheduled for multiple teachers and students. Online access to schedule conferences will open on October 21 and close on November 1. Conferences that need to be scheduled after online registration closes will need to go through the individual teacher. If you have already been contacted by your child’s academic team and have made an appointment, you do not have to schedule a conference online. Please contact the Main Office if you need assistance logging in or need your username and password.
