If your child is a returning student to IDES or RHSD 3, you are required to submit proof of residency online. If you have not already done so, please submit the necessary documents as soon as possible. If you plan to enroll your child once the school year begins, you will be able to do so with our registrar after 8 am daily. Due to limited space in our lobby, we ask that you call the office at 803-981-1135 upon your arrival. Someone will meet you in the front of the school to assist you.

In order to maximize the instructional day, it is important that students arrive on time daily. Here are a few reminders for parents:

• Car riders and bus riders will enter the building starting at 7:00 am.
• Unfortunately, parents will not be allowed to enter the building to walk their student to class. Staff members will be available to assist students if a need arises.

If you arrive to school after 7:45 am but before 8 am, please check in with the administrator or School Safety Officer at the entrance. They will ensure that your child enters the building safely. You can also call the front office for assistance at 981-1135. Please note that excessive late arrivals may lead to an Attendance Plan.

Dismissal will begin at 2:10 pm. A car tag provided by the office is required for our staff to release students in the car line. You can receive a car tag from our front office. If you do not have a car tag, you will be required to go to the main office with a valid ID to receive one. If you are not listed as a person to pick up a student, the student will not be released to you. We appreciate your support in helping us keep our students safe.

In instances when your child needs to leave campus early, please call the school prior to entering the building at 803-981-1135. Someone will give you directions and will call the classroom to have your child dismissed. All early dismissals should take place prior to 1:50 pm. You will need a valid driver's license to sign out your student.

You will register your child for bus transportation using the same registration for for enrollment on the district's website.

The Ride 360 App will allow parents and students to see exactly where the bus is on morning and afternoon routes. This helps to reduce wait times at bus stops and ensures parents know where children are in the afternoon when conditions beyond our control cause transportation delays
