ELC Family Newsletter
February 2024
Updates from Mrs. Porter
Greetings ELC Families,
We continue to think about and reflect on the many successes and achievements of our students, staff, and school community during this school year. Our students make us so proud, and we truly appreciate your continued support and partnership in everything we do.
PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES
Parent Teacher Conferences are approaching quickly! You should have received a sign-up from your child’s teacher. If you have not yet done so, please get signed up. Conferences will take place on February 14th (4:00-8:00 PM) and February 15th (1:00-7:00 PM).
VALENTINE’S DAY PARTIES - FEBRUARY 13TH
As we did for our fall/winter parties, one grown-up per child will be permitted to attend the party for their child. There are no children/siblings to attend the parties, with the exception of infants that can be worn in a carrier, or otherwise you'll be asked to leave. We ask that if a parent brings an infant the child's stroller stays in the hallway during the party.
Party times are as follows:
Morning Session - 10:15-10:45
Afternoon Session - 2:30-3:00
The link to pre-register to attend your child's Valentine’s Day party is available here and also below. Pre-registering will help us save time and move the check-in process along quickly. All visitors need to bring their ID for entry.
As we approach what has historically been our 'peak' of sickness season, please help everyone out by keeping your children at home when they are sick and by sending them to school when they are not sick. This will help us keep our doors open. Please read Nurse Corey's updates below.
Thank you to each of you for sharing your child with us during the most important years of their development. We appreciate the continued support as we strive to offer the best early childhood experience for your child(ren).
