Now, you will no longer need to download multiple apps to keep up with your Raider and they will be able to message their Raider’s teachers directly for quick questions and information. Dinner
Dinner will be available in the cafeteria from 6:30 p.m. - 7:50 p.m.

Dinner will cost $6.50 and will include either a beef or veggie burger, tater tots and all the fixings. Bottled water $1.00. Gatorade 1.50. Capri Sun $1.00.

8:00 p.m. Meet the Raider Pep Rally at Raider Stadium
Join Rowdy and all his friends as we kick off the sports season! Meet all your Raiders as the cheerleaders and the Raider Pride Band lead us in a fun pep rally!

And SISD is so grateful for your donation of 10% of the proceeds, which will go back to our Principal's Campus Activity Fund, which supports teacher needs throughout the school year. The start of school is just around the corner. The beginning of school is always rough getting everyone transported. Our goal is to streamline the process by verifying everyone who desires bus transportation. Our desire is that no one gets missed. The following will need to be done each year moving forward. Doing so will ensure I have your child listed on the route for the driver.

1. If you rode a bus last year, please fill out an existing rider form on the transportation website. Use QR Code or the link below to get to the website.

2. If you are new to Sunnyvale or wishing to begin bus transportation, please fill out the New Rider Form on the transportation website at the link below.

3. All riders must read and complete the 2023-2024 Student Rider Agreement at the link below.

If you do not know which Bus you ride, check the website (link below).

Changes:

1. If you are in the Preserve, your new bus will be Bus 12.

2. If you live in the Stoney Creek Gated side, you will be on Bus 12.

First Day of School

Buses will run on a normal schedule on the first day. Buses will depart the lot between 6:45 a.m. and 6:55 a.m. If you rode the bus last year, your pick up time will be approximately the same time as last year for SES/SIS. MS/HS route will be between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. If you are out by the curb, our drivers will not miss you.

Get the APP!

The Viafy Parent App is a great tool to allow you to see your child’s bus. This will allow you to see when the bus is approaching. If you are not set up, contact Transportation to get credentials. Credentials are sent to the email used to enroll your child.

SISD has partnered with School Cafe for cafeteria payments!

With School Cafe, you can apply for free and reduced meal plans, manage your Raider's lunch balance and check out nutrition information. It's easy!

The School Cafe app will be available in the Sunnyvale ISD App!

Click on the School Cafe Set Up Quick Card to set up your Raider's new lunch account! All students who wish to pay for lunch using their student account number must register with School Cafe.

At a recent meeting of The Board of Trustees a revision to the district calendar was adopted. Because of dates related to TEA's mandatory state testing calendar, SISD was forced to adjust dates in April. The student holidays that were originally scheduled for April 19 and 22 will now be May 3 and 6.

We appreciate your patience with this update.

The Raider Pride Marching Band will have its annual March-a-Thon on August 15, Tuesday, the night before school starts along the streets of Sunnyvale. This is a great way to kick off the school year by performing mini-concerts along the parade route. The March-a-Thon is the band's largest fundraiser and our students enjoy marching through the neighborhoods and bringing the community together. Class activity fees are used to assist student leadership in planning and executing special events throughout the year. The fees are set based on the needs of the class - as you can imagine, seniors have more events and needs than ninth graders. A great example of an event would be homecoming.

These fees are recommended by not mandatory. A specified list is below. You may need to use your laptop to view them.
