GO LADY JAGS
Dear Lady Jag Fans,
TRACK SEASON HAS BEGUN!!!!
We have moved into our 2025 Track season and there are a few differences to how Track season works vs volleyball and basketball.
1. ALL who want to participate are welcome to come to practices as long as they are cleared in RankOne. There are no cuts for practices; however, there are weekly "tryouts" for spots in each meet.
2. Meet entries will be determined by practice attendance, behavior, ability, timing, and safety. Each week, entries can change based on these factors. Each event can have 3 entries per grade level only.
3. There are NO GAME DAY MEALS.
4. We use an electronic sign out on track meet nights. You will be sent the link via sportsYou every Wednesday afternoon and can sign your athlete out then. Every athlete who is going home from track meets with a family member MUST BE signed out. We are not allowed to leave the site until all athletes are accounted for, so if they are not signed out, we will be making phone calls until we find them. This will result in your athlete not being asked back to another meet. Athletes are free to leave once their final event of the night has concluded, and they are signed out. They are also able to ride the bus back to SMS at the conclusion of the meet.
5. Athletes at track meets will be "camping" on the infield of the football field. Family and friends are not allowed on the field at any time.
6. There are four regular season meets and 2 days for districts. Your athlete has to qualify in one of the top spots in the district in order to make it to the District Meet. We won't know who qualifies until the final regular season meet.
7. Tickets will be sold at the gate, but you don't have to enter the gate to see all the events!

Facilities For Public Use Information
Fort Bend ISD encourages the use of District facilities in a manner that best serves the needs of the community within the laws, rules and regulations that govern the operation of a public independent school district. District facilities are designed for educational purposes and for that reason we ask all those who we share our facilities with to do so in a way that preserves their condition, providing a safe and healthy place for children to learn. We ask that you please abide by all laws and policies when using our facilities and help us by placing trash in appropriate receptacles, be considerate of other patrons and avoid any activity that could damage or alter school property.
Sartartia Middle School is no longer an open campus year round, and the new Outdoor Facilities for Public Use schedule is found by clicking the button below. Facilities that are not open for the time frame will be locked. As always, facilities are closed to community use during paid rentals.
