Now, more than ever

Mountaineers,

The first Earth Day gathered thousands of people in city squares, parks, and college campuses to put the deteriorating state of the environment on the front page of every major newspaper. These passionate protests resulted in the passing of the Clean Air Act and the establishment of the Environmental Protection Agency.

Fifty years later we are keeping our distance from each other, but that doesn't mean we can't take some time to remember our role as custodians of our planet. Fortunately, Discovery Education has put together a virtual collection of 50 engaging activities that all of us can do to make a meaningful difference for our planet.

Continue to take good care of yourselves and your families. We miss seeing you in person. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with us, especially to say hello!

Environmentally yours,

Ms. Matz & Mrs. Tindall
