Grant Name: Art Projects: Media Arts (National Endowment for the Arts
Amount: $10,000 to $100,000
Application Due: February 15 and July 11, 2024
Supports projects that contribute to a healthy and thriving arts ecosystem that is responsive to the dynamic, diverse, and evolving nature of the film and media arts field. This includes support for artists and audiences to engage with a spectrum of media arts genres and practices such as traditional or expanded forms of storytelling; visual expression; and performance using film, cinema, audio, broadcast, new media, creative code, and related formats at the intersection of arts and technology.

Grants focus on three areas: safety, education, and community development.
Education grants are directed toward initiatives that support the following programs: higher education; kindergarten through grade 12 academic performance; kindergarten through grade 12 science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM); and pathways for college and career success.

The US Department of the Navy seeks proposals to improve education and training in science, engineering, technology, and mathematics (STEM) for middle school students through to the current workforce. Expectations are to establish, build, or maintain research-informed educational pathways, outreach, and workforce opportunities aligned with Naval priorities in science and technology. The scope of projects may vary in size and complexity. Activity plans should improve the capacity of education systems and communities to create impactful STEM educational experiences for students of all ages.
GRANT ALERT: Teacher Dream Grant Coming Soon
The mission of the Teachers' Dream Grant is to support innovative teachers in implementing amazing projects that improve student learning. To achieve this goal, Dream Grants ranging from $500 to $5,000 are available to CCS teachers working to enhance teaching and learning in their schools.
Since 2006, TDG has granted $50,000 each year, making a significant impact on the education system. Teachers have been funded from across all levels and subject areas.
This grant program supports areas of innovation such as:
- Increasing student achievement and academic enrichment
- Closing achievement gaps
- Improving school and community relations
- Enhancing classroom and school learning climates
- Fostering critical and creative thinking skills in students
- Promoting social justice
- Addressing other needs of students in a particular school community.
