Principal Message
We finally had some sunshine this weekend. It also looks like it is going to carry into next week. This time of year can be hard when it is cold and grey. If any students are looking for extra support remember that you can always visit On Deck and then can help get you to a support system. You also have your wonderful school counselors to reach out to. It is a new semester and students seem to be doing well. If you are struggling in your classes you can always reach out to the teachers and then follow up with school counselors if you need extra support. If any students are looking to help support and make change in our high school remember that the Commodore Committee is meeting on Thursdays during Block 6 Compass. If you want to come to learn more you do not have to make a full time commitment. If that time does not work for you and you are interested in the work reach out to Jody Chamberlin and let her know.
Paper copies of semester 1 reports were given to students during Morning Meeting on Friday. Please be on the lookout for a hard copy of Semester 1 reports. Students who earned below a 2.6 in any courses have had letters mailed home this week. Thanks for your support with this communication. As always, feel free to reach out to your school counselor if you have any questions or concerns.
