A Note From Mrs. MacAllaster
Panther families,
As we embark on a new school year, we are looking for multiple parents, business partners, and teachers interested in running for Local School Council (LSC). All new members will serve a two-year term with the exception of any parent with an 8th grade student, your term will be one year. The LSC is an advisory body that provides recommendations and feedback to the school principal and the FCS Board. The RMS LSC meets six times during the school year at 8:00 a.m. All meetings and corresponding minutes are open to the public. Our LSC is comprised of business partners, parents, and teachers. Several of our current parent and business representatives concluded their terms this year. At this time, we are accepting an emailed letter of interest and a short candidate bio from anyone interested in running for Local School Council. The bios may be shared with our school community should we have more candidates than vacancies to fill and a vote required. If you are interested in either the parent or business council positions, please send your letter and bio to Ms. Debra Fischer - dfischer@forsyth.k12.ga.us. We will be accepting bios through August 2, 2023.
Sincerely,
Carrie MacAllaster

Early Access Locker Event - July 28
During this event, students will be able to select a locker of their choice from their team's section of lockers. Schedules will be released the evening prior, so students will know their team. They will have time to practice their combination and decorate their locker (if they wish). Parents may assist with this.
For this event to be successful, we need your help! If you are interested in helping make the day run more efficiently, please sign up here to be a parent volunteer!
If a student is not interested in early access, lockers will be assigned on the first day of school. If students are interested in purchasing a regular Panther Pack, they will be available for $20 after the event.
