We are still experiencing staff and student absences and we do appreciate you as whanau doing your best to keep your children home if they are unwell.
At the end of Term 2 you received your child's report and hopefully attended a learning conference with your child and their teacher. We are sending out a survey as we are keen to have some feedback/feedforward around our reporting process. Please take the time to fill the survey in, so we can continue to improve this process. The survey will be emailed out next week, so keep an eye out for it.
We have quite a few shows and events booked for T3, which we are sure everyone will enjoy. There is a wide variety appealing to all age groups.

School Board Parent Election 2022
Our school is undertaking a parent election for our School Board. This process has started with the issuing of nomination papers to our caregiver community.
We have employed CES to undertake the election process on our behalf. This year with legislative change, our nomination form and full instruction on how to place your nomination into our own School’s Election website have been emailed to you if we have your
email address in our database or you will receive it by post if we don’t have your email in our database. Please check your junk or spam folders. The email would have come from Canterbury Education Services <election@cessl.org.nz.
Nomination papers will also be available at the school office. The school will send those on to CES for processing upon receipt from candidates.
Nominations close on Wednesday 3rd August at 12 noon. If the required number of nominations are received on Wednesday 3rd August at 12 noon then no election will take place. The new board will take office from Wednesday 10 August.
If we have more than the required nominations received on Wednesday 3 August then voting papers will be emailed out and Election day is Wednesday 7th September.
We look forward to your participation in this process

The Fuel for Schools sponsorship programme has helped put over $1.5 million dollars of resources into more than 400 rural schools in the last fourteen years.
Our school has been nominated by a local business/farm that receives bulk fuel deliveries from Northfuels, meaning that for every 2 litres of bulk fuel they purchase 1 cent is donated to their nominated school.
We would like to take the time to mention who those members of the community that have contributed to our school.
