Happy New Year! We are excited to welcome everyone back on Tuesday, January 2nd.


Makeup/Retake Picture Day will be on Thursday, January 4th, in the morning. For retakes, please bring the original pictures back to return.

CAREER ADVISOR CORNER

During December, the 6th grade ELA classes completed the My Foundation lesson in Naviance. The students discussed the hobbies, interests, and activities that they enjoy as part of their foundation. A foundation might be described as being physically active, helping others, teaching, investigating or learning, organizing things, leading or persuading people, being creative, or doing things using tools. Understanding more about themselves (their foundation) can help them choose a career that aligns with their interests. Studies have shown that people are happier in the short term and have greater career stability when they choose a career based on their interests.
