Congratulations Teacher of the Year and Rookie Teacher of the Year!
Last week we recognized our Campus Teacher of the Year and Rookie Teacher of the Year. The Teacher of the Year is selected through a nomination process from the entire staff and then a final vote on the nominees. The Rookie Teacher of the Year is a teacher who is in their first year as a teacher and is selected by the campus administration. The recognition for our two finalist included campus leaders, students, and family members.
We would like to congratulate and honor Mr. Kash as our Campus Teacher of the Year! He is an outstanding teacher, one who demonstrates educational innovation, contributions to student learning, a love for students, and a demonstrated commitment to the school community. He is an excellent example of what it means to show Colt Ownership and take pride in our school! He works hard daily to help students learn Texas History and important concepts of government. He wears many hats – teacher, coach, department chair, and mentor. He does whatever it takes to ensure learning for students and the success and pride of our school community. Mr. Kash voluntarily coordinated our campus Veteran’s Day celebration. This was an event that really highlighted the many talented students and incredible programs within our school community. The event included performances from our campus band, choir, and orchestra; the NJROTC Color Guard from Mayde Creek High School; guest speakers from the VFW; and honored veteran parents and staff members. It was a huge undertaking, and he did an impeccable job of pulling together all of the pieces for this event. Congratulations, Mr. Kash!
Ms. Rubesh, 7th grade Reading Language Arts teacher and Cheer coach was recognized as our Rookie Teacher of the Year. She has demonstrated exemplary dedication and contributions to our campus. She is flexible, innovative, creative, and passionate about learning. Ms. Rubesh embodies what it means to be a Team Player by her willingness to help others and support school functions with the Cheer Squad. She is dedicated to teaching students the essential skills of being great readers and writers. She spends many hours coaching our girls through Cheer practices and taking them to games. Congratulations Ms. Rubesh!

Semester Exam Schedule
Dear Colt Parents/Guardians,
Semester Exams will begin on Tuesday, December 13th. A copy of the exam week schedule is attached and posted to the campus website. Also, teachers have the schedule posted in their classrooms, so students have the opportunity to record the schedule in their planners. Please avoid scheduling any appointments that would cause a student to miss a Semester Exam. If there will be an unavoidable, planned absence, please notify the attendance office as soon as possible. Semester Exams will not be given early. If a student misses a Semester Exam due to an absence, he/she will have until Wednesday, January 22nd to make-up the missed exam. The student should talk to the teacher to make arrangements to make-up the exam. Please encourage your student to make adequate preparations for Semester Exams. Thank you.

Veterans Day Celebration!
On Thursday, November 10th we held a Veterans Day Celebration to honor the veterans from our school staff and the veteran parents/family members of our students. Veterans who attended were provided a special lunch in their honor while being entertained by our Orchestra students. Our PTA was instrumental in decorating and providing hospitality for the luncheon. The 7th grade class attended an assembly to learn more about the origin of Veteran’s Day and what it means to be a veteran from members of the local VFW and Marine Corp League. MCHS Navy JROTC Color Guard attended to present the colors…three Cadets were former Cardiff Colts. Our Cardiff Choir sang the National Anthem and our Cardiff Band performed the service medley for each branch of the military. The celebration was a huge success and a great civic learning experience for our students. A sincere THANK YOU to Mr. Kash, 7th grade Texas History teacher, for coordinating this event! Please click the link below to access the presentation honoring some of the many veterans in our school community.

With flu season hitting early this year, the clinic staff wanted to provide the families of Cardiff with some important information regarding staying healthy during this flu season.
To prevent widespread flu in the school, we recommend that your child stay home from
school if experiencing flu or cold symptoms. To decide whether to send your child to school,
please consider the following guidelines:
Keep your child at home for treatment and observation if he or she has any of these symptoms:
Fever‐greater than 100°F and your child should stay home until at least 24 hours after they no longer have a fever. This should be determined without the use of fever‐reducing medicines (any medicine that contains ibuprofen or acetaminophen).
Vomiting (even once)
Diarrhea
Chills
General malaise or feelings of fatigue, discomfort, weakness, or muscle aches
Frequent cough
Lots of nasal congestion with frequent blowing of nose
To help prevent the flu and other colds, teach your children good hygiene habits:
Wash hands frequently
Do not touch eyes, nose, or mouth
Cover mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing. Using a paper tissue, throw it away and then wash hands
Avoid close contact with people who are sick
It is recommended everyone 6 months of age and older get a seasonal flu vaccine each year. Consult your family doctor for recommendations on which flu vaccine to get.

National Child ID Kits
Dear Colt Parents/Guardians,
Senate Bill 2158 requires schools to distribute National Child ID Kits to students in grades K-8. This is a community service provided by the National Child Identification Program to support their initiative dedicated to reducing the number of missing children. The kit allows parents/guardians to collect specific information by easily recording the physical characteristics and fingerprints of their children on identification cards that are then kept at home. If ever needed, the kit will give authorities vital information to assist their efforts in locating a missing child. All information and instructions are on the ID kit. Students received a kit during Advisory on Thursday or Friday of this week and have been instructed to take them home to parents/guardians. If your child does not receive a kit by today, Friday, you may contact the campus at the main number for assistance 281-234-0600.

Fundraiser Kickoff Next Week
Next Tuesday, September 13th, we will hold a student assembly to kick off our annual campus fundraiser. Money raised from the annual fundraiser helps us pay for things like student awards and incentives, special events, guest speakers, field trips, etc.

Students will receive their first box of chocolate to take home on Wednesday, September 14th and are able to pick up additional boxes with the return of funds from each box sold. The fundraiser will end on Friday, September 30th. Students must turn in all money from the chocolate sale by Friday, October 7th in order to qualify for prizes. E-hallpass at CJH
Starting on Monday, September 12th we will begin using an application called E-hallpass. This application essentially replaces the paper version of hall passes and helps increase security at our school. Last year, this system was piloted at one of our KISD junior high campuses and this year several KISD junior high campuses have adopted its use. It has been reviewed by our school district’s technology department and meets all technology standards for student usage. It is important to note that we are not asking students to download the application onto a personal device. Students are not required to have a device at school to utilize E-hallpass. They will simply access the application from a classroom iPad to request a hall pass from their teacher to use the restroom or for water.
The application will help us to better monitor our hallway activity and the number of students leaving the classroom at any given time. This application gives the school more awareness of students and it helps us increase school security. Safety is a priority, and this system gives the school the ability to quickly stop passes if necessary.
We want your child to feel safe at school and we are happy to talk with any parent or student who wants to know more information about E-hallpass. Please use the following link to learn more about this application: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9mC41Q1zGE

Safety Alert-PAQUI, One Chip Challenge
Dear Colt Parents/Guardians,
It has been brought to our attention that some students are engaging in a "One Chip Challenge" involving the chip brand PAQUI, which contains one singular chip made with two of the spiciest peppers in the world. As you can imagine, it is extremely spicy and can have serious effects on the body. The one chip is contained in a 'coffin-style' box and wrapped in blue plastic as pictured below.
Part of the challenge is to wait as long as you can before eating or drinking, which can lead to vomiting and becoming severely dehydrated. Some unfamiliar signs can include bronchial spasms. We have seen three students in the clinic in five days with severe stomach pain and vomiting. There are reports from earlier this year of students being hospitalized from consuming the chip.
Due to the safety concerns related to consuming this item and related distractions from learning, this item will not be permitted on campus. An announcement was made to students today that this item will not be permitted on campus, and I am asking for your support with discussing this issue with your student. Together, we can help our students make the best choices possible to stay focused on learning. Thank you for your assistance with this matter.
Cardiff Junior High Open House 2022
The Cardiff Junior High Open House is Wednesday, September 14th from 6:15 PM to 8:30 PM. This is a great opportunity to meet your child’s teachers and learn about what is happening at Cardiff Junior High. Below is our schedule for Open House. We have asked your child to copy their class schedule for you so that you know where to go. You can also print a copy of your child’s schedule by going to the Home Access Center through the KISD website http://www.katyisd.org. Additionally, you can access a copy of Frequently Asked Questions from the CJH campus website under the “Families” tab, “Parent Resources” and “FAQs”. PTA will have a table available in the cafeteria for you to join PTA as well as purchase 2022 school spirit wear.

· Parking will be available to parents in the back parking lot. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE FIRE LANES AT THE FRONT OF THE SCHOOL AS THIS CREATES A SAFETY HAZARD AND PREVENTS THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC.
· Please follow your student’s schedule of classes in order. Each class is 9 minutes in length with a 6-minute passing period between classes.
· The primary purpose of Open House is to briefly meet each or your child’s teachers. To be considerate of other parents, lengthy conversations with a teacher should be scheduled for a later date.
· Parents will have a 15 minute meeting with the grade level Assistant Principals, Counselors, and a PTA representative in the locations noted above.
· You will not attend your student’s “Lunch” period, “Student Assistant” period, or 8th period ELT/Advisory.
GT Screening
Beginning this school year, all secondary GT screening will take place in the fall semester instead of in the spring semester. Parent checklists are available now in the counselors’ suite. Any student wanting to screen for GT services for the 2023-2024 school year will need to pick up and turn in a GT Screening Parent Checklist by October 7th, 2022. Screening will begin on October 31st. The only students who cannot screen during this time are transfer students whom we screened this August.

Student Spotlight
Colts:
Starting this week, we will begin spotlighting some of our amazing Cardiff Colts. Each week, teachers will have the ability to nominate students who are doing great things at school.
This spotlight can be awarded to students who are:
- Making individual progress in their class
- Showing a positive attitude to their peers
- Being helpful in class
- Participating in class
- And so much more!
Welcome Back Colts!
Colt Parents/Guardians,
We are off to a great start for the school year! Our Colts have adjusted well to getting back into school routines. It has been a pleasure seeing our students engaged and on-task in the classroom and enjoying their peers. I’m confident that we will do great things this school year!
Open House is coming up soon. Due to a schedule conflict, we had to make a slight adjustment to the date. Open House will be Wednesday, September 14th. We will begin at 6:15 PM. You will have a chance to meet each of your child’s teachers and hear a little bit about their classes. We will send additional communication as we get closer to the date. Please mark your calendars to attend Open House.
After-School Tutorials & Tutorial Busses – Our two after-school busses will begin running TODAY. The busses will run Monday-Thursday of each week, unless otherwise communicated. The after-school busses will not run on Friday. Students who attend after-school tutorials or extracurricular activities may ride these busses. The after-school busses are not available to students who are assigned after-school detention. Soon, we will be posting our teachers’ tutorials schedules to our campus website. You can also find this information on their teacher Canvas pages. The after-school busses will leave the campus at approximately 5:15 PM. After-school tutorials must be pre-arranged. Students cannot stay after school without scheduling tutorials with a teacher. Lastly, the after-school busses have different drop-off locations that will be in close proximity and within walking distance to where students live. A copy of the bus drop-off locations can be found on our campus website. Two of our expectations for students is that they take OWNERSHIP of their learning and that they are SUCCESSFUL in school. We expect students to self-monitor their progress and to take initiative with requesting tutoring from their teachers when it is needed.
Student ID’s – As of last week, all of our students have received a permanent, plastic ID. So far our students have been doing really well with wearing their IDs throughout the day. Starting today, students who do not have their permanent ID will be given a temporary ID for the day, and they will receive an immediate consequence of lunch detention. Students who have lost, broken, or defaced their ID will need to bring $3 to purchase a replacement ID. Students are expected to wear their ID throughout the entire school day. Please take a moment to reinforce this expectation with your child.
Our National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) will be sponsoring a Back-to-School Dance on Friday, September 16th. The dance will start immediately after school and will end at 5:30 PM. Pick-up will be at the front of the school and parents should be here by 5:30 PM. More information to follow about ticket sales and the cost to attend. This is a great activity for students to enjoy some fun time with friends!
I’m excited about this school year and our partnership with parents/guardians to make this the most successful school year ever! Please contact us, if there is anything that we can do to assist you.

Welcome Back Colts!!
Colt Parents/Guardians and Students,
The start of another school year is here! We had a huge turnout for Colt Camp last week, and I am super excited to see all of our Colts return on Wednesday, August 17th. We have been working diligently to ready the school, plan engaging lessons, and renew our commitment to providing an exemplary experience for our students. The success of your children will depend on our PARTNERSHIP with each other, parents and educators. Parents, here are five important things that you can do in this partnership:
- Talk to your child daily about school. Though you may not always get a lot of information from them, keep asking questions….daily!
- Monitor their progress. Look at every progress report, every report card, and follow their grades weekly using the Home Access Center (HAC). Recognize and reward your child for the classes in which they are being successful and set action steps for classes in which they need to improve. You can check our campus website for the “go home” dates for progress reports and report cards.
- Communicate with the teacher whenever you have questions or concerns. Teachers will routinely communicate learning expectations, assignments, and progress through communications, such as emails, Canvas, handouts, Remind, and phone calls. Please call or email the teacher whenever you have questions or concerns. You should expect return communication within 48 hours.
- Participate in your child’s school experience. Attend activities, such as athletic events, fine arts performances, Art Night, Open House, PTA meetings, Coffee with the Principal, Watchdog Dads, etc. Volunteer to help at events and come have lunch with your child at least a couple of times during the year. They need to see you at school.
- Provide a good place at home for your child to study and complete assignments/homework. Most students study and concentrate best in a place that is clean, routine, has good lighting, and has limited distractions from siblings, TV, video games, and cell phones. My personal recommendation is a student’s personal cell phone should be in another room while studying. Trust me, it helps!
I can’t wait to see what our students will accomplish this year! Below, I have provided lots important reminders and information about the first few days of school. Let’s get started!
Scott Rounds
Principal
Annual Enrollment Update
Remember to update your child’s enrollment information. This is required each year and must be completed by the first day of school, Wednesday, August 17th. Remember that ALL 6th grade parents will need to provide a current Proof Of Residence. You can now complete your annual update by one of two ways:
- One method is through PowerSchool. By now you should have received an email from the school district with your unique SnapCode for each of your enrolled children. Follow the link in the email to PowerSchool and use the SnapCode to start the update.
- The second method is through the Home Access Center (HAC). Log into the Home Access Center using your parent login username and password. Click on the “Update Enrollment” tab and then click on “Annual Student Update”. If you have never used HAC as a parent, you will need to contact our campus Registrar to request information on how to set up a login: Laura Gomez; LauraGomez@KATYISD.ORG; 281-234-0709
Open House
- Open House is scheduled for Thursday, September 15th. More communication about Open House will be sent later on. Please mark your calendars. We expect to see you at Open House!
7th Grade Shot Records
- Seventh Graders must have up-to-date vaccination records before Wednesday, August 17th. Seventh Graders will not be allowed to attend class if the campus nurse does not have an up-to-date shot record. Parents will be contacted to pick up their child from school or provide an updated record. The Nurse can be contacted at kristinediaz@katyisd.org 281-234-0625.
Student Schedules
- On the first day, August 17th, students will receive a copy of their schedule when they go to the gym. Students will use this schedule as it may have changed from the one they received at Colt Camp.
Student ID Cards
- On the first day, students will also receive their permanent ID card and a lanyard. Students are expected to wear their ID at all times. If a student forgets their ID at home, they will need to acquire a temporary ID in the cafeteria when they arrive to school. Replacement ID’s can be purchased for $3 in the library.
Daily Campus Access
- Doors open daily for students to enter starting at 8:30 AM. Walkers, bike-riders, and car-riders need to enter through the front, main entry. For safety reasons, car-riders MUST be dropped off and picked up at the front entry ONLY, not along Westfield Parkway or Dayflower Drive.
Car-Rider Drop Off
- Car-riders need to be dropped off daily by 8:40 AM. This will give students plenty of time to get to class on time (if they are not eating breakfast in the cafeteria). Please do not be a contributor to your student’s tardiness to class.
Daily Arrival Procedures
- Each morning students will report to one of the gyms when they arrive to school. Sixth graders will go to the Practice Gym; 7th & 8th Graders will go to the Competition Gym. Students may stop at the cafeteria first to eat breakfast.
Daily Dismissal Procedures
- Dismissal is at 4:05 PM. Car-riders must be picked up by 4:10 PM each afternoon at the front entry of the school ONLY. For safety reasons, students MUST NOT be picked up along Westfield Parkway, Dayflower Drive, or in the serpentine drive. Students must wait near the front entry for parents to pick them up.
- For the first few days, buses will likely be a little later than normal getting home. We will send email updates for buses that become extremely late in departing from campus. Students who do not have tutorials or an extracurricular activity after school must exit the campus immediately upon dismissal.
No Parent Escorts on the First Day
- While we understand that dropping off your child at school can be an emotional time, especially on their first day of junior high, parents are not permitted to escort their child into the building. Don’t worry parents, they are in good hands…we’ll take good care of your children!
Free Meal Service
- Cardiff Junior High is one of several Katy ISD campuses that will benefit from the USDA Community Eligibility Provision. This means that for 2022-23 ALL Cardiff students will receive free meals, breakfast and lunch. Parents are not required to complete the annual meal application. ALL students will receive this service automatically; however, this free service will NOT apply to the a la carte serving lines.
Grade Level Assemblies
- Grade-level class assemblies will be held during 8th period Advisory on Thursday, August 18th, Friday, August 19th, and Monday, August 22nd for students to receive important information from their assistant principal and counselor regarding expectations and how to be successful at school.
Accelerated Instruction
- House Bill 4545 passed by the Texas Legislature during the summer of 2021 requires all students who did not receive a passing score on a STARR assessment to receive 30 hours of Accelerated Instruction. Furthermore, students who were absent on the day of a STAAR Assessment, will also be required to complete 30 hours of Accelerated Instruction. Most students who require Accelerated Instruction will receive this service through either Reading Intervention class or Math Lab class. Please contact your child’s counselor if you have any questions about Accelerated Instruction.
Lockers
- We have found that most students prefer to carry their supplies and materials to class using a backpack; therefore, students are not issued lockers. However, after the first two weeks of school, if a student needs a locker, they may request one from their grade-level office.
School Supplies
- School supply lists for each grade level can be found on our campus website under the “Parents” tab. The campus, nor PTA, is selling pre-packages school supplies this year.
Parent Contact Information
- It is important to maintain up-to-date contact information with the school. Please make sure the school has accurate phone numbers and email addresses.
After-School Tutorials / After-School Buses
- Tutorials are available from each teacher two days per week. Teachers’ tutorial schedules will be published on the school website in the next few weeks. Teachers will also have their tutorial schedule posted on their Canvas pages.
- After-school bus transportation will begin the week of September 6th. A bus will be available Monday-Thursday for students who stay after school for tutorials or extracurricular activities. Please note that after-school buses will not be available on Fridays. The bus will depart from campus at approximately 5:15 PM.
Edulog Bus Tracking App
- Parents can track their child’s bus using the Edulog application. The code for Cardiff Junior High is 27261992. Additionally, information about the app can be found on the district’s website under “Transportation.”
Pay-N-Go App
- Pay-N-Go is the app that parents can use to pay course fees (if applicable) and other school expenses. You can find more information on the district’s website.
Athletics – No Tickets Sold At the Door
- Once again this year, tickets will NOT be sold at the door for athletic events. Tickets must be purchased online using the Pay-N-Go app.
We Are Here To Help
- Please contact the school’s main number if you have additional questions – 281-234-0600. We are always here to help!

Semester Exams
Cardiff Parents,
Semester Exams will begin on Monday, May 23rd. A copy of the exam week schedule is below and posted to the campus website. Also, teachers have the schedule posted in their classrooms, so students have the opportunity to record the schedule in their notebooks.
Please avoid scheduling any appointments that would cause a student to miss a Semester Exam. If there will be an unavoidable, planned absence, please notify the attendance office as soon as possible.
Semester Exams will not be given early. If a student misses a Semester Exam due to an absence, he/she will have until Monday, June 13th to make-up the missed exam. The student should talk to the teacher to make arrangements to make-up the exam or contact the school’s front office if after Friday, May 27th.
Please encourage your student to make adequate preparations for Semester Exams. Thank you.

Cardiff JH Yearbook - LAST CHANCE!! - Order by May 1, 2022
Colts,
On behalf of the Cardiff yearbook staff, I want to remind the Cardiff Colts community that the 2021-22 yearbook is happening. With so much still going on in our lives, it is more important than ever to capture and remember the events and history unfolding around our students and school.
The yearbook is the only product in our school that I recommend a student should have –record of our school year that they will have the rest of their lives.
Our publisher will be printing only enough copies to fill the orders received, and our order window will be ending soon. Please don’t miss out on this opportunity – order your copy at https://www.balfour.com/texas/katy/cardiff-junior-high before our order deadline of May 1st.
Farewell Mrs. Kang
Today was Ms. Kang’s last day as 6th Grade Assistant Principal. She accepted a promotional position as a high school Assistant Principal at Katy High School. Guys Who Read
Bear Creek Elementary will be hosting its first Guys Who Read Event. It will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022. This event will focus on getting men from the community into the school to read to our students. Our students need to see that reading is important for their lives, and one of the best ways to do that is to get positive role models in the community involved that they can relate to. It will be very impactful for our students to spend a morning surrounded by positive male role models showcasing reading. We are hoping this will become an annual event, and we would like to invite students or staff from CJH and MCHS to read for our kids. Our boys need to see coaches, leaders, teachers, athletes, etc. reading. If anyone has questions, they can reach out to our librarian, Rachel Weatherford.
Congratulations Paraprofessional of the Year!
Congratulations to Ms. Gross, Special Education In-Class-Support paraprofessional, for being selected by the staff as our Campus Paraprofessional of the Year! Ms. Gross always goes above and beyond for ALL students. Her bright and encouraging energy adds a spark to the classroom, while having a “tough love” for students. She has a kind heart and a special determination to help students, no matter what it takes. We appreciate YOU, Ms. Gross. Congratulations!

Choir Solo & Ensemble Competition Results
On Saturday October 30th, 9 Cardiff J.H. Choir students competed in Katy ISD’s Solo and Ensemble competition and represented our school in an AMAZING way! Students had to perform an art song on their own in front of a judge and could be rated anywhere from 1-5. Seven of our participants received a ranking of a 2 which qualifies as Excellent! Two of our Cardiff J.H. participants came away with the highest ranking possible of a 1, which is classified as SUPERIOR! Excellent and Superior are the two highest ratings you can receive at this contest, and we could not be more proud of these young musicians and their hard work! Thank you to everyone who has supported our choir students and given them the encouragement they needed for a positive and successful experience!
One Awesome Colt!!!

Principals of Human Services Class Projects
During our first six weeks my Principles of Human Services students created a Vision Board to help inspire and motivate them to reach for their dreams and goals. (see Pic 1 below).
During the second six weeks students worked in groups to investigate Community Service organizations. We talked about the importance of helping others, but also to inform those that may need help that these organizations are available for assistance. They researched the founders, what each organization provides, and how individuals could help by donating or volunteering. (see Pic 2 below).
On Friday, October 15th the Newcomer students continued on Community Service by cleaning up the back parking lot and grassy areas of Cardiff J.H.
Great Job Colts!

September Staff Member of the Month
Congratulations to Ms. Yun, our September Staff Member of the Month! Ms. Yun is a 6th grade math teacher. She is always looking for new ways to engage her students. She has worked hard at developing the inquiry model in her math classroom to allow students to explore and experience math before it is explained to them. She is developing a culture of learning within her room, and it is evident among her students who are anxious to respond and try new things!

Calling all Volunteers!
Hello Cardiff Community,
We are looking for a few amazing volunteers! Our school community has always come through, and we are asking you to continue coming out to help us out. Here are a few opportunities where assistance is needed:
- Tuesday Workbasket - The PTA has set up Tuesday workdays to help make copies, laminate, and cut items for our teachers. This will take the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month from 8:30 am - 11:30 am. Please sign up for the date(s) that fit your schedule. Please keep in mind to be cautious of any young children you bring with you. Since the workroom is a busy place, you need to watch out for a hot laminator and paper cutters. Hope to see you there!
- Cardiff JH Boo Bash Dance Volunteers - Friday, Oct. 29th - We will need volunteers on Fridayto serve as chaperones, help with concessions, monitor the hallway and bathrooms, etc. Your job will require walking around and making sure the students are safe. Important Notice - Please don't bring any siblings along with you if you plan to volunteer. Serving as a volunteer requires your undivided attention, so all non-Cardiff students need to stay home and not come to campus with you. Thanks for your understanding! Please sign up by Thursday, October 28th! Please include accurate contact information - email and cell phone - as it will be used to verify your attendance the night before the event. Thank you so much!
- Boo Bash Dance Ticket Sales - We will need two volunteers per lunch period to sell tickets starting Monday, October 25th. Please sign up and provide accurate contact information, since it will be used to verify attendance the night before. The Friday shift will require an additional volunteer per lunch period, since wristbands will be placed on those that purchased a ticket.
The signup for all these volunteer opportunities can be found on our main page:
