EastView performed for Constitution Day at Federal Courthouse
Fifth graders from EastView and Highland Elementary Schools in Greeneville sang the preamble to the U.S. Constitution at the beginning of a Constitution Day program held on the steps of the James H. Quillen United States Courthouse in Greeneville.

EastView Wildcat Walk-A-Thon
Envelopes were sent home Friday. Some teachers may send home Monday.
Directions:
- Students will seek out sponsors for the walk. Sponsors can pick a flat donation amount ($5, $10, $15, etc). No donation is too small or too large and every dollar goes to help the students and staff at EastView.
- Students will walk on September 29th.
- ENVELOPES CONTAINING DONATIONS ARE DUE OCT. 4th to be elibible for prizes.
- Prizes will be given to the students with the most laps and the most donations.
- Prizes include gift cards to Five Below.
Parents may walk with their child during the 30 min walk time only. Parents will leave immedately after the student's walk time ends. We will need to rotate visitors every thirty minutes so please be mindful of the times.
Directions on check in, parking etc. will be sent out in separate message to custodial parents through Swift. later this week.

Community Event for Kids
Mrs. O'Dell learns from Dr. Adolph Brown
Mrs. O"Dell, Mrs. Bentley, Mrs. Johson, Mrs. Ford, and Mrs. McAmis attended the East TN Literacy Conference. Dr. Adolph Brown was the keynote speaker.
