Career Center Newsletter 08 November 2021
Greetings Students and Families,
This Thursday, November 11 is Veterans Day. As the Career Specialist, I have the honor of meeting with each branch of the military, which is a unique experience in itself. In my family, my great-uncle served in the Air Force during WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, two uncles served in the Navy during WWII, my brother served in the Army, and my son is about to serve in the Air Force. The military is one of many career pathways for students. Choosing a career in the military is choosing service above self. I feel privileged to be able to assist students with this career pathway.
Thank you to all those who have selflessly and honorably served in our nation's military.
