Straight from the Hardt
Hello Ridgeline Families-- A highlight event for our school community this week was the Future Falcon family night! This was an early opportunity for our incoming freshman to come see their new high school and get to meet staff and students as they learned about academic programs, athletics, clubs/activities, and more! For me, I value the informal, personal conversations with parents and students more than a sit-and-get presentation. There are times when that is needed, but we strive to create an environment where you can get answers quickly to the questions that are foremost on your mind.
Welcome to our students and families of the class of 2026 (don’t worry parents, saying that date makes me feel old too!). From now through the end of the year our 8th grade families will receive the Falcon Flyer.
As Principal for Ridgeline this is my first job working in a high school. Now, I couldn’t imagine doing anything else! To be able to experience the growth and success of our students fills me with a sense of pride. I’m amazed at how much TALENT and SKILL our students possess. It’s not only evident in their art, music, and athletics, it’s also on display within their academic courses and clubs. Problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity—very impressive. And the best part-- high school kids are fun!
What I’ve missed the most in schools during the pandemic are the SMILES! Masks are OPTIONAL starting Monday. We welcome and support every individuals right to choose.
Make it a great weekend! --Mr. Hardt

Ridgeline HS EYAS String Orchestra
Next week, our Ridgeline HS EYAS String Orchestra is heading to Seattle and Bellingham, WA to showcase their exciting repertoire at the Western Washington University String Festival. Students and parents can review information at our website (www.ridgelinestrings.org) for trip details.
The pride these students are forming in starting the first orchestra at Ridgeline HS is truly fantastic. Not only are we excited to bring our music across the state but we are also celebrating some MONUMENTAL success in our academic achievements.
36 of our over 40 total members made the Ridgeline HS Honor Roll first
semester. That’s incredible. And just when you thought, “no way!!” We are also sharing that 14 students maintained a 4.0GPA! The orchestra life has it all.

Peace. Love. Pottery.
Peace. Love. Pottery.
These are the things our amazing pottery artists appreciate most about working with clay:
“I love being able to make things out of clay and give them as gifts to friends and family.”
“It’s so satisfying when your clay project comes together and you feel so proud of what you made.”
“Clay is the most unlimited material . . . you can create just about anything with it.”
