Digital Citizenship Week
Tech Tip Tuesday (October 4, 2022)

It's coming! It's coming! Digital Citizenship Week!
What is Digital Citizenship Week? And why does it matter?
Digital Citizenship teaches how to engage and participate in responsible ways of using technology, in order to protect themselves from internet dangers and respect each other.
We live in an ever-increasingly connected world, and teaching students how to handle themselves online is just as relevant as teaching common courtesy and mutual respect.
One a year during October, educators celebrate Digital Citizenship Week, a time for educators to remind students how to be safe, responsible, and respectful citizens in their digital spaces.
Check out some of the ways that you can teach Digital Citizenship today and throughout the year!
