Proceeds will go to a Class of 2024 senior class-chosen sustainability project-more details later! Alternatively if you have a gown from a sibling and want to just order a cap ($8) and/or tassel ($7) you can do so as well.
1) Order your cap, gown and/or tassel combo using the Sign Up Genius here. 2) Bring cash or check (made out to LOHS) to Ms. Munds, the bookkeeper. 3) Ms. Foster will deliver your items to your advisory or you can swing by and pick them up in Room 211 by Sept 15th.
Parking Update: PLEASE READ!
As a reminder, parking at RiverWest Church is NOT available at this time on Tuesdays. Please plan accordingly. RiverWest will re-assess their need for spots on Tuesdays at the end of September.
Students who do not have a parking permit and choose to park on campus will receive a $30 ticket. Please do not park in any staff, student, visitor, pool, Central Office, or any spot that isn't assigned to you. Any student who receives THREE or more tickets will not be eligible for parking the following school year. Parking in someone else's spot can lead to unnecessary inconvenience and frustration for everyone involved. It disrupts the organization and order of our parking system, making it challenging for others to find their designated spaces.
We encourage all students without a parking permit to carpool, take district-provided transportation, or have their parent/guardian drop them off/pick them up at school.
LOHS Out Of Boundary Ride Share Info
consider setting up a rideshare.
If you would like to be included in a database of our families who reside out of the LOHS boundary, please email our registrar, Tracy Chalpoutis chalpout@loswego.k12.or.us and she will include you in the database and share it out to all interested families. The purpose of the database is for families to connect with each other and hopefully set up a rideshare. It will be the responsibility of each family to make their own connections. We will solely provide the contact information of families interested in making connections.
Information included in the database will be the following:
-Student name and grade
-Parent name and email address
-Street address including city and zip code
The Lake Oswego High School Laker Parent Club
Summer 2023
Dear Laker Families,
On behalf of the Lake Oswego High School Laker Parent Club we want to welcome you to Lake Oswego High School for the 2023-2024 school year! We are so excited to be back and encourage you to get involved!
Laker Club is a volunteer organization whose mission is to enhance and enrich the high school experience for the students of Lake Oswego High School. Each year our Laker Family raises money that goes directly towards supporting academics, arts, athletics, clubs, science, technology, performing arts, counseling and more. We help support our incredible LOHS staff so they can provide enhanced opportunities for the entire Laker student community.
A few years ago, the Laker Parent Club decided that it was important for us to encourage all parent participation, so we did away with charging a membership fee in order to become a member! All Laker parents and guardians are welcome to participate in the Laker Parent Club and everyone will receive Directory Spot, our digital directory within about a month of school starting.
We have moved away from formal auction fundraising and smaller fundraisers throughout the year and have been able to use a more direct, inclusive and streamlined approach that puts funds into the classroom at the beginning of the school year. This has allowed our administration to hone in on the most effective use of funds throughout the year. All monies will go towards fulfilling Laker Club Teacher Grants, and these funds will cover a myriad of enhancements to our school and classrooms. For the 2023-2024 school year we are asking for a voluntary tax deductible donation of $125 per family, but any amount is appreciated.
Please make your tax deductible donation at Laker Club Donation.
You can also bring a check to the office made out to the LOHS Parent Club or mail it to LOHS at 2501 Country Club Rd, LO 97034, Attention: Laker Club.
