Emerson Elementary Week of November 12th, 2023
EMERSON HOSTS THE BOARD OF EDUCATION
On Monday, November 6th, members of Emerson’s Student Council attended the FPS Board Meeting to lead the Pledge of Allegiance and talk about current Student Council events.
Quinn Courtney, Caleb Dixon, Tori Hardy, Kennedy Jones, Annie Kiger, Serenity Paille, Dominic Paletta, Madeline Perry, Tucker Rocheleau, Ariana Schings, and Briella Wright were on hand to talk about Red Ribbon Week and the Thanksgiving Food Drive. Our Student Council members also spoke about our new and improved PBIS expectations. Madeline introduced our PAWS acronym. Jacob and Kennedy explained what each letter stands for. Tori explained our November character trait – kindness – and presented our mantra and quote for the month as well. Quinn talked about the October PBIS incentive, which was Army Boot Camp with Sargent Master Welch, and November’s upcoming incentive, which is board games in the classroom. Finally, Dominic and Annie talked about Bulldog Heads and Bulldog Bucks, how to earn them, and what rewards students can earn. Great work, Student Council!

READY OR NOT- THE COLD WEATHER IS HERE!
We're starting to see MANY students bundled up each day, which is great! Please be sure to send your child to school dressed for the weather each day. Students will start needing warm coats, gloves, hats, scarves, and/or boots daily throughout the winter.
Please take time to label each and every item- because our lost and found gets bombarded with lost winter accessories throughout the season
Please note that, per Board Policy, we will be having outdoor morning lineup and heading outdoors for our 20 minute recess(es) if the windchill is 10+ degrees.
Time outdoors is time well spent for kids, in all seasons
