Congratulations to Katherine Cardenas and Morrison Dobore, our ASB President and Vice President of the 2021-2022 school year!

Both Katherine and Morrison have been active in student government since their freshmen year. Katherine has served the role as class officer and ASB Executive Council for two consecutive years as Public Tech Commissioner. Katherine will serve as ASB President for the 2021-22 school year. Morrison has served as both freshmen and sophomore class president, and ASB Treasurer for the executive council. Morrison will serve as the ASB Vice President for the 2021-2022 school year.

As we start this school year, we want to give a special shout out to our current ASB Executive Council members who have continued to meet in person every week. Our ASB executive council has been proactive in keeping the student body informed and maintaining a positive attitude during these trying times through engaging student activities, dress up days, and answering questions related to school and events. Thank you for all you do!

We are in need of the following class officers - Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Historian. If you are interested in one of these class positions, please sign up in the ASB office with your interest. Sign up sheets will be located on the black bulletin board near Mrs. Alvarez's ASB office.

We will be taking nominations for School Site Council beginning Tuesday the 7th of September up until Monday the 13th of September. Elections for School Site Council will begin on Tuesday, September the 14th so make sure to have your nomination form filled out and submitted by then if you are interested in applying.

Hey, Hey, Hey Titans, its FBLA! Join the CCHS FBLA team and be a part of something that you’ll forever remember! Why? Meet new people, attend conferences, and it will benefit you when applying for college or work. If you are interested in joining and have taken a business class or multimedia class, there will be a meeting after school this Tuesday, September the 7th from 3:00 to 4:00 in Mrs. Dao's room.

The first Art Club meeting will be held on September 10th in room 305 (Mrs. Gardner's classroom). The meeting will start at 3:10 and will end at 4:00 pm.

NAMI On Campus High School Club is a student led club that raises metal health awareness and reduces stigma on campus through fun activities and education. The Club is open to all students - those with mental health conditions, those with family members with a condition, or students who are interested in the field or in advocacy. It is not a support or therapy group. If you are interested in joining, there will be a meeting on September the 9th in the CCHS Resource Center so make sure to attend if you are interested.

If you are a junior or senior interested in signing up to be a SCICON counselor, please stop by the counseling office today and sign up with Mr. Hernandez.

If you are a club interested in raising funds, clubs can fundraise on the football game on the 17th of September. If your club is interested, make sure to submit a fundraising request before second lunch on Wednesday, September the 8th.

Every Wednesday is College T-shirt day, so make sure to wear your favorite college t-shirt.
