Happy New Year! I am pleased to announce our new PAC Board Members -

We also have room on the committee for anyone who is interested in becoming a member. Committee members are asked to attend 90% of the PAC meetings during the school year and have voting rights when it comes to voting in the board. Just email me if you are interested.

Katherine Salas will be at our January Meeting to tell us more about the Wellness Workshops the district is hoping to plan, geared towards your wants, needs, requests and ideas.

We invite any and all to come learn Native Drumming with Harold Paul. For the first three weeks, we had several new drummers attend and now we hope to have many more. All ages whether or not you have ever been around a drum are welcome and encouraged to come.

Each of the high schools are hosting a FAFSA filing workshop night this month. Please look at this flyer for dates and locations. Students and families can attend FAFSA nights at any of the high schools.

If you are interested in attending one of these sessions, please make sure you prepare ahead of time by:

• Use the "FAFSA/ORSAA Filter Tool" at OregonStudentAid.gov to access the FAFSA or ORSAA sites
• Students: Create your FSA ID or ORSAA Account
• Parents: Create an email address if you don't have one

What to bring when you attend:

• Laptop and charger
• If applicable, bring the social security number of the student and parent/guardian
• Bring records of tax returns and any untaxed income for 2022.

Join us for a morning family event featuring integrated sessions on social-emotional learning, mental health, technology and more! Breakfast and childcare provided. Please RSVP if you plan on attending.
