Boosters Required for Quarantine Exemption for Students 18+ years

Per the quarantine and isolation guidance from the Oregon Health Authority and Clackamas County Public Health (CCPH) updated on January 6, people 18 years or older who are eligible for boosters will need to have had their third dose of COVID-19 vaccine in order to be considered exempt from quarantine. CCPH has given people in schools until March 18 to meet this updated requirement to avoid possible quarantine.



People are eligible for a booster five months after receiving their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine and they may get their booster regardless of having tested or presumed to have been infected with COVID-19. As of now, per the state, boosters are not a requirement for employment.



If you are in need of a booster, click here to find a clinic nearby -- answer the first two questions to reach the booster section. LOSD is in contact with the Lake Oswego Fire Department and CCPH to host another booster clinic for our staff and students. We hope to have more information soon. Families can also schedule an appointment or ask questions by calling the OHSU hotline at 833-647-8222, weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
