SVLA Newsletter for October 2023
SVLA is Central Valley's Parent Partnership Learning Options program.
Thank you for attending September's Open House events!
Did you make a new friend?
We had a great turnout at our September Open House events. We loved seeing SVLA parents reconnecting with each other. We loved seeing our students make new friends. Those pesky rain clouds at our Elementary Open House didn't wash away our excitement for this new year.

A Safety Note for K-5
Using the car VALET line?
If you are using the valet line, for safety purposes it is important for parents to stay in the car. Our staff is happy to load and unload elementary students.
- Pull up to the the last cone at the "top of the U."
- Roll down your window if you have specific instructions for us.
- If you know your student needs seatbelt or other help you always have the option to park and walk over to pick up your child from the dismissal area.
Elementary Q1 Workshops begin Monday October 2nd 1 1 : 4 0 am - 2 : 1 0 pm
Drop off in FRONT off Barker Rd.
Because we have students who will be arriving at different times to attend Q1 Monday workshops, we are asking you to drop your students off at the office, off Barker Rd. Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Suda will be out front for the valet line. Students will enter the front office and be given directions to line up and proceed to their first workshop.
Pick up out BACK off Mission Ave.
At the end of workshops students will line up along the back fence line, the same line-up spot for Wednesday dismissal. You can park and walk over to pick up or use the valet line.
