In this episode of UEN Homeroom, Dani and Matt chat with Scott McLeod, a Professor of Educational Leadership at the University of Colorado Denver. Listen as he shares his expertise on Deeper Learning and how educators can use it to enhance learning in their classrooms. Listen at the link below.
In this course, participants will complete four of the training mini-courses that are available through the Adobe Education Exchange to learn about the importance of creativity in the classroom. Participants will learn to use several Adobe creative tools, including Adobe Spark Post, Video, and Page, and Adobe Premiere Rush. As they learn these tools, they will consider how to effectively integrate them into the curriculum. By completing this course, participants will also qualify for Adobe Creative Educator: Level 1 status. Register for this course.

Educators are increasingly expected to exhibit skills and knowledge of using technology to enhance student learning. The UEN Educational Technology Endorsement Program is grounded in the USBE EdTech Competencies and the Utah Effective Teaching Standards. The Competency-Based Educational Technology Endorsement is divided into four courses. Participants will come away with a portfolio of work that aligns with each competency.

AI with UEN in Canyons School District

UEN Sr. Technical Trainer Matthew Winters joined the Utah State Board of Education for a Personalized, Competency-Based Learning site visit at Quest Academy. The group explored the school's academic and school cultural vision and learned from their students. Thanks to Quest Academy Principal Nicki Slaugh for the great photo.
