CONGRATULATIONS!!
*There are so many words of thanks that are needed with the biggest going to Mr. Kober! His work to bring drama to our school, including the time, energy, effort and JOY, created a fantastic event for everyone involved.
*Thank you to our PTA for their support for this new activity at our school! It's sooooooo appreciated!
*To Mr. Jonathan and his wife-a huge thanks for running the lights, sound and the ticket station at the door.
*To all of the families who shared their students with us for the multiple after school practices...THANK YOU! The kids did an amazing job and clearly loved being a part of the show.
*To our audience members...thank you for coming out to see the show and support live drama at Rabbit Creek. We loved having you!
The monies raised through ticket sales will be used to support future drama activities at Rabbit Creek. If you have a child who is interested in being in the next show, be sure they watch for information in the fall.
Retirement event is Tuesday!
Other staff making changes for the 23/24 school year....
*Ms. Kate Hamre is moving to teach at Girdwood School, which allows her daily commute to become next to nothing. We are happy to see her get to teach so close to home, but she will be missed!
*Mrs. Danielle Hessler also gets to shorten her commute to school, as she is moving to Muldoon Elementary. This allows her to be closer to home and to spend more time with family-which is a bonus for her, but a loss for Rabbit Creek.
*Mr. Steve Ring is moving to teach at Anchor Lutheran School next year. His work with so many activities at our school (Student Council, PTA rep, after school activities and much more) will be dearly missed.
*Mrs. Melissa Werth will be returning to Bayshore Elementary School, where she has worked previously. She joined our team this year after time outside of ASD and we've been lucky to have her (and her children!) at our school.
*Mrs. Megan Chelf has been the Health teacher at both Rabbit Creek and O'Malley this year and has been amazing at her position. She will be leaving us to work outside of ASD and we wish her nothing short of the very best!
*Mrs. Allison Felton is leaving Rabbit Creek as our Speech Language Pathologist, but is continuing with our school (and others) in working with Assistive Technology with ASD. She will get to support many of our Life Skills students and we are fortunate that we get to "keep" her in this capacity!
*Ms. Sophia Feng, our ELL tutor, will be moving to Rilke Shule Elementary next year. This change allows her to work at one school rather than two, which is a challenge.
It's STAFF APPRECIATION week!!

Simply use the QR code below to complete the quick and easy process. It takes only a few minutes and then a couple of days for our district to complete their part.

Thank you Student Council for sponsoring this event with PTA!
From Your PTA
Hello Rabbit Creek Families,
I can’t believe it is May and we only have a few more weeks of school. This school year has flown by.
I wanted to stop and take a minute to say thank you for allowing me to be your President this year. It has been a wild ride and I have enjoyed such a great time, meeting so many wonderful people. Our family has decided to homeschool next year and I will be stepping down from my position. I will still be involved, but my life is going to be changing very soon. Thank you for this amazing opportunity!
PTA is hosting executive board members voting currently and we need everyone to vote! We are still needing these positions below:
PRESIDENT:: an individual who conducts monthly meetings, writes bi-weekly newsletters and is in frequent communication with executive board members, principal, volunteers and other staff members
COMMUNITY VP: an individual who plans for the fun events here at RC ( Monster Mash Halloween event, dance, game night, WInter Fun Night, etc)
SECRETARY: an individual who takes notes during our monthly meetings as well as being in charge of our yearly PTA executive board voting (online)
Go to the Rabbit Creek PTA website to cast your vote. Please consider helping out the community here at Rabbit Creek by volunteering in either position. PTA also needs volunteers for many small committee roles we also partake in throughout the school year. Please reach out to myself or another member of PTA if you are interested.
Bike to school today was so much fun! Thank you to all the students and parents who braved the snow. Thank you to Tina Baldrige, Melissa Frey, Holly Curry, Mr. Pemble, Mr. Ness, Amanda Fowler, and Jill Boyd for helping make this event a huge success! Mr. Pemble will announce the winners of the fabulous Bike to School Day prizes soon!
