Sundays From The Mesa # 9
Week of October 3rd-7th, 2022
Hello October!!
October is such a fun month at Alta Mesa. Temperatures cool down, students are excited about Halloween and fall traditions, and we close out the first trimester of the year at the end of the month. Parents we have a lot of great opportunities for you as well this month. Our Parent Club will be hosting the Fall Carnival for the first time since the pandemic started and will be looking for support, we have digital parenting classes, and finally, we are always looking for people to hire at the school site and throughout the district.
This week we have the great opportunity to host a K-5 Cross Country meet. This meet will feature several district schools and their student participating in distance running of varying lengths. Kona Ice will be there to help students cool down after their run is completed. Swing by on Thursday, October 6th to cheer on our runners.
Finally, I want to thank all of our Alta Mesa parents. On Friday we collected our last few Educational Benefits forms so that as a school we were able to get 100% of our forms turned in. This will help both our school and district with federal funding. Thank you so much for making the effort to get these submitted to our office.
It's going to be another amazing week here at Alta Mesa School! Thank you for your continued support.
Thank you,
Ryan Miller- Principal Alta Mesa School.
