Our Teachers are the Best!
WE have the best teachers ever, and every year a committee names one teacher from each of our schools as a building Teacher of the Year. Out of all of the honorees, one will be named Colonial's Teacher of the Year and will head to Dover to see if they will be named the State Teacher of the Year. Open Enrollment
The 2023 Open Enrollment period is May 1 – 17, 2023.
(Plan Year July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024)
Unless you experience a qualifying event, Open Enrollment is your only chance to enroll, cancel coverage, or change plans for yourself, an eligible spouse, or dependent children. Participation is mandatory. Here are your first three assignments.
Act Now – Make Sure You Can Access Employee Self-Service Through my.delaware.gov
Take action now to prepare for Open Enrollment by making sure you can access Employee Self-Service through my.delaware.gov: Initially set up can take up to two days.
Click the button “Access Employee Self-Service through my.delaware.gov” below.
Sign into your my.delaware.gov account with your personal email address. If necessary, reset your password by following the prompts for “Forgot password?”
Assure your Employee Self-Service tile is available when logged into my.delaware.gov.
Single Sign On (SSO) access to Employee Self-Service is only through my.delaware.gov. Checking your access now is important to assure you will be able to actively participate in the annual benefits Open Enrollment (May 1 – 17, 2023). If you cannot access Employee Self-Service please use the 2023 Open Enrollment Help Desk Support Chart; it directs you to the proper group for help.
There are many changes for the upcoming year, including changes in rates, co-payments and FSA. Please review What’s Changing- Quick Reference Chart for an overview.

Special Education Certification Program!
Student Services is excited to announce the fourth cohort of the Special Education Certification Program! In order to be eligible for the program, you must hold a current teacher certification in any area. We are having an interest meeting to share information and learn more about the Colonial School District’s partnership with Wilmington University.
