Author Spotlight: B.A. Paris
"I live and write from my cottage in Hampshire, England, and often travel to discuss my novels with readers around the world.
Before becoming an author, I spent some years working as a trader in an international bank in France before re-training as a teacher and setting up a language school with my husband. We have five daughters and recently moved back to England to enjoy life in the countryside.
When I’m not writing, I enjoy spending time with the other man in my life. He’s well over 80 years old and is a little wrinkly, but Henry the tortoise really is great company.
I am inspired to write by things that happen in my day-to-day, by people I have known and people I meet. My imagination then usually goes into overdrive and, before I know it, a story comes to life on the page.
At the moment, I’m writing my next psychological thriller. Stay tuned for future announcements about its release!"
