Hello Hoover
Friday, October 6, 2023
Hello Hoover Middle School families,
We are almost at the end of the first nine weeks. This means that in a week (October 17, 2023), report cards will be accessible on Focus. The official end of the quarter is October 12, 2023. There are only a few days left to turn in any missing assignments! As an administrative team, we reviewed our discipline and academic data – here are the few reminders we shared with student during morning announcements:
Students are expected to walk in the hallways, rather than running.
Students are expected to arrive at class on time.
Students are encouraged to check their grades on Focus, and turn in any missing or late assignments.
Please continue to help us reinforce these expectations at home, and do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or concerns. All students who earned only A’s and B’s in their report card, will receive an Honor Roll certificate and will be recognized as a group during morning announcements.
High School Information Night: Have you started “high school shopping?” Are you feeling overwhelmed with all the options, or not quite sure where to begin? We are here to help! Hoover Middle School’s High School Information Night is an opportunity to learn about what different high schools have to offer, and to help you decide the best option for your student(s).
