Welcome Back!!
Well, that was a quick summer!! I hope you were able to spend quality time with family and friends and had time to rest, relax, and recharge for a while. After a busy summer, we have some new staff members (bold) joining our school family.

Here are some important dates, as we begin our school year:
The final Music in the Meadows will begin at 6:30 until 8:30 at Soaring Hawk (the back lawn), on Thursday, 7/27, if you'd like to attend.
August 3rd
Teacher Assignments – Your teacher assignment will be available on your Parent Portal account under reports/student schedules. Class lists will not be released prior to this date.
August 7th
- Meet the Teacher Night 3:00PM-5:00PM- Classroom teachers will be available in their classrooms, and specials and specialists will be in their rooms or town square.
August 8th
First Day of School for 1st -6th ONLY
8:25 am—All students/families report to Field; Classroom teachers will have class sign for visibility.
At 1st bell—Short program/Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem
After the program, 6th grade will lead us into the building, through the front entrance, and clap the rest of the school into the building.
August 9th
Soft Start arrival, regular dismissal

Kindergarten Balanced Beginnings
Balanced Beginnings are transition days that ease the transition process for Kindergarten students by creating a staggered start. These days provide teachers with additional time to build positive relationships and introduce the new environment and routines. Our new Kindie students will attend one 2-hour session on these days, with the first full day of kindergarten for all students on Friday, August 11th.

School Pictures – Lifetouch will be here during the day to take pictures. Order forms will be available before the picture day and/or online. We ask that ALL students be photographed for identification purposes and the yearbook.

- SHE Family Carnival- Come join other families and enjoy food, fun and games.
