EVENT AND CONCERT TIMES
12:30 PM - Deretchin Elementary Orchestra Concert
1:15 PM - Coulson Tough Elementary Orchestra Concert
2:30 PM - Mitchell Intermediate Orchestra Concert
4:30 PM - McCullough Junior High Orchestra Concert
5:30 PM- PIZZA DINNER FOR ALL ORCHESTRA STUDENTS (All students are invited, none required, register below)
7:00 PM - The Woodlands High School Orchestra Concert
12-4 PM: We will have 3 inflatable obstacle course for orchestra students in grades 5-9 to enjoy set up in the cafeteria. Parent Supervision is required while students enjoy these activities. Must have socks on. No shoes, or phones are allowed in the inflatables. Due to liability issues, only students enrolled in an orchestra program in the TWHS Feeder system can make use of the inflatables or attend the pizza party.
3-6:30 PM There will be a food truck for families (and students if you are not eating dinner with us). This will be in the parking lot outside of the cafeteria.

SEATING FOR THE CONCERTS
- BE AWARE THAT OUR AUDITORIUM SEATS ARE VERY OLD, AND SOME DO NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY. PLEASE TAKE CARE WHEN FINDING A SEAT. BROKEN SEATS WILL MARKED TO THE BEST OF OUR ABILITY.
- FOR THE MITCHELL INTERMEDIATE CONCERT: Seats will be reserved for VIP Seating Winners from Mitchell's Paint the Path Pink event. We will have printed off signs to place on the seats in the front middle section of the auditorium. THESE RESERVED SEATS ARE ONLY VALID FOR THE MITCHELL PERFORMANCE at 2:30pm.
- FOR THE WOODLANDS HIGH SCHOOL CONCERT: Senior Parents and families will be allowed to enter the auditorium at 6:30 and general admission will start at 6:40 PM.
- Please do not sit in a reserved seat, unless the seat was reserved for you.
AFTER EACH CONCERT, ALL AUDIENCE MEMBERS MUST LEAVE THE AUDITORIUM. YOU ARE WELCOME TO REENTER FOR THE NEXT CONCERT, BUT NO ONE CAN STAY SEATED IN THE AUDITORIUM BETWEEN SHOWS.
WE EXPECT THESE CONCERTS TO BE VERY WELL ATTENDED, AND FOR THE AUDITORIUM TO BE CROWDED. PLEASE MOVE TO THE MIDDLE OF THE ROWS OF SEATS, AND LEAVE NO SEAT UNFILLED SO THAT EVERYONE CAN FIND A SEAT!
WE ARE HAVING A PIZZA PARTY AND ALL ORCHESTRA STUDENTS ARE INVITED
All Students in the TWHS Orchestra Feeder System Orchestra are invited to join us for a pizza party between the McCullough and High School Concerts. Come hang out, eat pizza, catch up with old friends, make new ones, and get to know the Orchestra Directors! Cost is $10 and includes pizza and a drink. PLEASE REGISTER IN ADVANCE USING THE LINK BELOW!

Deretchin Elementary Orchestra Information
When: Saturday, May 13, 2023 @ 12:30pm
Call time: Students will arrive early to allow time to find their uncasing rooms, tune, and warm up before the performance. 5th Grade - 11:45AM 6th Grade - 12:00PM
Where: The Woodlands HS Auditorium; students will be dropped off at the Orchestra Room. First door past the main entrance on Cats Cradle. Parents should go in the main entrance and wait in the front foyer for the auditorium to open
Wear: Uniform - Deretchin Music Shirt, blue jeans (no holes, pant length), close-toed shoes (clean sneakers).
Uncasing Rooms: Arrive at TWHS through the entrance on Cats Cradle. Enter the school through the Orchestra Room door then follow the signs to the uncasing room. The Orchestra door is the first door past the main entrance on the brick wall. There will be signs outside and inside. When you arrive you will unpack, tune, and take a seat while you listen closely for instructions on when to line up for your performance. You will leave your case in the uncasing room for the duration of the performance and will return after the concert to pack up.
What to Bring: You only need your instrument, accessories, binder, tuner, and uniform. Cello & Bass students must bring their home instruments & rock stops. These items will not be available at TWHS. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CASE HAS YOUR NAME ON IT!
Expectations: After you perform, students will return to the uncasing room to pack up & remain in the uncasing room until the entire concert is over. There are three other performances going on this day. If you attend any of the other performances, you will receive extra credit. Keep a program or send one of the directors an email after the concert. Parents are responsible for students who choose to stay past the Deretchin concert time. Appropriate audience etiquette is a level zero, saving applause for after each piece.
After the concert: Students will remain in their room until the end of the concert. All directors will be assisting other groups so they will not be able to release you to a parent in the middle of the concert. All students will be dismissed at the end. Your child will meet you outside the Orchestra room where you dropped them off in the car line
Coulson Tough Elementary Orchestra Information
When: Saturday, May 13, 2023 @ 1:15pm
Call time: Students will arrive early to allow time to find their uncasing rooms, tune, and warm up before the performance. ARRIVE AT 12:45 PM
Where: The Woodlands HS Auditorium; students will be dropped off at the Orchestra Room. First door past the main entrance on Cats Cradle. Parents should go in the main entrance and wait in the front foyer for the auditorium to open

Wear: Uniform - Orchestra Polo, blue jeans (no holes, pant length), close-toed shoes (clean sneakers).

McCullough Junior High Orchestra Information
TWHS Feeder String Fling!
This is an all-day event for TWHS feeder. However, it is not an all-day event for you.
Below are the performance times for each school. You may leave after your performance.
**If you have not completed your concert credit, you should stay for all McCullough orchestras. There will be fun games and food for those who choose to hang out at the festival!
Call Times for McC Students:
*You will all meet in the band hall at your specified time below.
3:30PM - Sinfonietta & Philharmonic
3:45PM - Camerata & Symphony
4:05PM - Concert & Chamber
McC Highlanders, we understand that there are many events happening this time of year. Therefore, you are dismissed after your orchestra's performance. We would LOVE to have you all there to perform Don't Stop Believin'! However, we understand if you have other commitments.
*Chamber, since Don't Stop Believin' is directly after your performance. You will all remain on stage to play.
Attire:
DARK Blue Jeans and your Orchestra T-Shirt with closed-toed shoes.
*This is a ROCK concert. Feel free to wear heavy rock make up, jewelry, shoes, etc.
What to Bring: You only need your instrument, accessories, binder, tuner, and uniform. Cello & Bass students must bring their home instruments & rock stops. These items will not be available at TWHS. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CASE HAS YOUR NAME ON IT!
The Woodlands High School Orchestra Information
ALL STUDENTS EXCEPT PIANISTS MUST BRING THEIR OWN INSTURMENTS (HARPISTS TOO!)
WHAT TO WEAR:
- Orchestra T-shirt/senior shirt, dark blue jeans (no holes, pant length), black close-toed shoes.
- CHAMBER STUDENTS AND OFFICERS MUST COME DRESSED FOR THE CONCERT DURING THE DRESS REHEARSAL, all others can wear anything school appropriate to the dress rehearsal, but must have their uniform on by the afternoon call time.
- *This is a ROCK concert. Feel free to wear heavy rock make up, jewelry, rock-star hair, etc.
WHERE TO GO:
- PHILHARMONIC, CAMERATA, SYMPHONY: Uncase in the Orchestra Room
- CONCERT AND CHAMBER: Uncase in LGI 1
TIMES:
- ALL STUDENTS 8:45AM- 11:30 AM Dress Rehearsal
- Philharmonic, Camerata, Symphony: 8:45 AM-11:30 AM, then be back in the orch room by 6 PM for the concert.
- CONCERT: 8:45 AM-11:30 AM, then in LGI 1 by 4:30 PM to perform the finale with McCullough
- CHAMBER:8:45AM- 4 PM, You will have the dress rehearsal and then perform Strut and the finale with Deretchin, CT, and Mitchell. Then back by 6:15 PM in LGI 1 for our concert.
- 6:45 PM, we all take the stage
- 7:00 PM The concert with all TWHS Orchestra Members on Stage begins.
