Crocker Principal's Highlights
Hello Vikings,
After 12 days in session, we thrive, learn, and celebrate our return to school in person. Our educators have been excellent teachers, leaders, and caregivers as we embark on our journey through the 2021/22 school year. Collectively we are focused on our theme of Care, Connections, and Community. As educators, it is our responsibility to approach learning and teaching with a lens of building relationships and self-care. Building relationships with our students, parents, and colleagues while focusing on self-care will strengthen the social-emotional learning competencies for us all. Our student’s academic success is intertwined with their social-emotional learning competencies. Together in partnership, we can ensure that our students are caring young people, connected to the world around them, and positively engaged in their community.
Please join me in thanking our educators for their informative WTEN presentions last night. The WTEN recordings are linked above. Thank you, parents, for attending. We had an excellent turnout.
Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend,
Maria Brady

Staff members and students with symptoms of infection should stay at home when sick and get tested when symptoms are consistent with COVID 19. GIVING DAY IS SEPTEMBER 23rd
HSF Giving Day is when we ask families to make their commitment to support Hillsborough's tradition of excellence in education. These funds help provide students with the Hallmarks of a Hillsborough Education: exceptional teachers and staff, excellence in math and reading, smaller class sizes, dedicated counselors and specialists and 1:1 devices. Look for us in our HSF green t-shirts at your school sites on September 23rd, or simply make your donation today.
Hillsborough Classic Luncheon & Fashion Show
The HSF Classic has long been a vital part of the fundraising efforts of HSF benefiting our distinguished schools and you're invited to “Centre Court" with this fall's Wimbledon Picnic theme bringing the Classic back to its tennis roots! Tennis games will be played Thursday 10/21 8:30-11am at courts throughout Hillsborough and open to all skill levels and gentlemen for the first time in its long running history! Luncheon & Fashion show will take place on Friday 10/22 9am-2pm at the San Mateo Marriott’s courtyard. Consider forming a group for lunch from our class for a table of up to 10. Let's continue to grow our HCSD/HSF community starting where it matters most -- within our classrooms! Get tickets for one or both events later this month.
If you have a tennis court, please consider donating the use of your court in support of HSF for this charitable event. For more information, please contact Mireya Maciel at events@hsf.org
