Weekly Update

The Dragon Dash is back, and students are very excited about running with Stormy the Dragon on Friday, September 30th! PTO sponsors this great fundraiser for May Street school by having students running laps around our field to earn pledge money. Students will receive popsicles after their running session is over. Parents are welcome to watch their student from outside the fence along the staff parking lot on 10th Street. Pledge packets were sent home the end of last week. Call the office with any questions at 541-386-2656. Happy running Dragons!

Photo packets will be going home Wednesday. Look for your child's packet in their backpack.

Join friends walking, biking or rolling to school for National Walk Bike and Roll to School day!

PTO will be sponsoring breakfast snacks and drinks under the play shed area Wednesday from 7:00-7:30.

Thank you everyone for helping us keep all of our students safe and getting home on time by making your phone calls to the office before 1:45pm with any changes to after school plans.

REMINDER- only a note or phone call from a parent is accepted for after-school plan changes.

We already have several coats and jackets in the Lost and Found. We want to help get lost items returned to your students! You are welcome to stop by the office, and ask to take a look at the items in our Lost and Found.

Please help us by putting your child's name inside all coats and jackets.

Breakfast is available starting at 7:15- and class starts at 7:35.

If you would like your child to eat breakfast at school, please try to have them arrive no later than 7:25 so they have at least 10 minutes to eat before needing to head into their classrooms. Thank you!

Hello May Street Families!

Thank you SO much for your overwhelming excitement and support of our staff here at May Street. I heard so many great things at Open House about how our teachers are making children feel welcomed and excited to be at school every day.

We have several upcoming events that will take place at May Street: Dragon Dash, Picture Day, and Walk Bike & Roll to School. Later in October we will look forward to practicing emergency drills, and getting ready for the Serpentine!
