Richey First Take
Sunday, October 29, 2023
From Ms. Burrows
Richey Families,
Please help us celebrate Mr. Johnson to close out National Principal Month! Students may participate next week with the teachers showing some of Mr. Johnson's favorite things!
Monday 10/30-Get decked out in your favorite sportswear! Any team, any sport, any accessory. Bonus points for a golf outfit! (not a contest)
Tuesday 10/31-Mr. Johnson's favorite holiday is St. Patty’s Day so since it’s Halloween let’s all dress like the holiday came early this year! Pull out your St. Patty’s Day or green gear! Leprechauns are welcome that day.
Wednesday 11/1-Mr. Johnson loves the beach and one of his favorite movies is Jaws. Wear your fall beach wear… (Sunglasses, visors, beach shirts, and if you are really creative be a shark!)
Thursday 11/2- Dress like Mr. Johnson or Disney Day/Spirit Wear
This is not mandatory.
If you have any questions, please reach out to me.
Ms. Burrows

Richey Families,
Due to safety concerns, as of October 23, 2023, we are asking parents to no longer park on First Avenue closest to the school. No one was injured but we want to ensure that we are keeping our students safe as they are walking from school to home.
This street does not have sidewalks and our students have to walk in the street while cars are traveling in and out.
Please assist us with keeping our students safe as they are dismissed from school. You may park in a different location or you are able to join our carline.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to Mr. Johnson or Ms. Burrows.

Closed Campus
The student day ends at 3:50 p.m. Students will not be dismissed from the main office between 3:15 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. We are considered a “Closed Campus” during this time. Please schedule appointments before and after these times. Your cooperation is appreciated as we work together to create a safe environment for all.
Car Line Circle
Parents,
Please make sure you are keeping the left side of the carline circle open until 3:15 pm. This lane will only be used for early dismissals and deliveries. If you park in that lane before 3:15 pm you will be asked to move. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Starting October 23rd parents may log in to the iReady portal to see your student's results from the most recent iReady assessment. Below are the directions to log into the parent portal for iReady.
