SKPS UNIFIED SUMMER PROGRAMS
What are Unified Summer Programs?
Unified Champion Programs are aimed at promoting social inclusion through intentionally planned activities where students with and without disabilities engage together, fostering respect, forming friendships and expanding acceptance. Unified Summer Programs are open to students who will be entering grades 1-12 and students of all abilities are welcome to apply. Camp participants will rotate with a group through athletic games and other activities each day.

Summer 2023 Parent Education
Circle of Security- Virtual Learning Series
July 18 - September 5, 2023
9:30 - 11:00 AM OR 6:00 - 7:30 PM
At times all parents feel lost or without a clue about what our child might need from us. Imagine what it might feel like if you were able to make sense of what your child was really asking from you. The Circle of Security Parenting™ program is based on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened. This 8 week series is best for parents with children who are 0-6 years old.
• Understand your child’s emotional world by learning to read the emotional needs
• Support your child’s ability to successfully manage emotions
• Enhance the development of your child's self esteem
• Honor your innate wisdom and desire for your child to be secure

Make Parenting a Pleasure- Virtual Learning Series
June 29 - September 21, 2023
9:30 - 11:00 AM OR 6:00 - 7:30 PM
Are you interested in reducing your stress and having more fun as a parent?
This 12 week series will help you develop skills and awareness to reduce family
stress, develop better communication, and cultivate positive discipline strategies.
This 12 week series is best for parents with children who are 0-8 years old.

Courses are facilitated in English by Danielle Vander Linden. She is an adjunct instructor for WOU, OSU, and a Trauma Informed Specialist. She holds a Master’s degree in Special Education and is a Qualified Mental Health Professional, with 18 years of experience working with children, youth, families, and educators.

Cost: Flag $80.00 no fundraising
All Tackle $175.00 plus $100 fundraising
Scholarships ($100.00 off) available for all tackle players on free/reduced lunches.

Meals will be available for curbside pick-up from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM and will be placed into large grocery bags for easier transport.
Meal packs will be available for pick-up every Monday and Wednesday
Every meal pack will consist of two breakfasts and two lunches
Meals will be available at these 7 schools:
