Hi all,
We've come a long way from the first week in August and still have more to go! We are heading into our last week of Field Hockey for 2023 as the 4th seed in Open Division. We will be hosting La Jolla High School @ 6pm for an exciting quarterfinal matchup. Let's make sure we tell everyone about the game so we can have the biggest and most exciting crowd to propel us forward in playoffs. Even though hockey is exciting, I know finals are here for this week. Please make sure you're taking the time to study for those and getting enough rest. We are now able to get earlier practice times for this week on the turf.
For Monday's practice, we are having a team "pick up" dinner from Rancho Bernardo Submarina to thank them for being our one of our awesome sponsors. It's easy to participate. We need families to place orders from Rancho Bernardo Submarina by Monday November 6th @ 5:30pm and marked for pickup at 6:00pm. Sarah Stock has graciously volunteered to pick up the sandwiches for all of the players so families do not need to worry about grabbing the sandwiches. Players can then eat the sandwiches together after practice (if their schedules allow) as a "CIF-send off" dinner. This is a great bonding experience for all players and this event with Rancho Bernardo Submarina could encourage them to continue to be a contributing sponsor to PHSFH for years to come.
