Almost Christmas!
Thank you for supporting St Raphael's Hospice
Thanks for all your support for the Rudolph Run, we had such a wonderful day, the children really enjoyed running around the school site, we were fortunate to be blessed with good weather. Thanks to all the children and staff for entering the run in such good spirits.
Please send your completed forms and funds in to school through the class teacher at registration or via the member of staff at the gates.
It's lovely to support our local hospice in this way, it's been a tough fundraising year for them, they are incredibly grateful for your fundraising.
Holiday closure as scheduled
As you can see below, school will close as scheduled next Friday at lunchtime.
Good luck Mrs Everton
Mrs Everton leaves us to start her maternity leave next Friday, we all wish her well and look forward to hearing about her new arrival in February. Mrs Nash joins the school in the new term to cover for Mrs Everton, she will be in school next week.
Congratulations - we made it through the term safely!
Thanks everyone for all your support for lining up, maintaining bubbles, wearing masks and keeping the school community safe. We appreciate all the phone calls and emails that have kept us up to date with how COVID-19 has affected your family. As a school community we have managed to keep all our classes open for the whole term with not a single day of closure. Through lots of hard work in cleaning and disinfecting the school, in keep groups apart and maintaining good hand hygiene, we have managed to stay well. We realise that the timings at the gate are not ideal for any of us - but they are working and are keeping us safe.
God bless Mr Fowler and our wonderful cleaning team who work tirelessly after hours to disinfect and clean the school. Thanks to all the staff who have supported the cleaning regime we have in place and have helped to clean when needed.
We look forward to a vaccine and perhaps a return to normality over the coming calendar year.
