From the Principal's Desk
It is hard to believe that we have arrived at winter break, and 2021 is a few short weeks away. The last 10 months have certainly been a rough road to travel, but I am truly grateful for all of the support the Lincoln community has provided our staff and especially our students.
I wish you a happy holiday from my family to yours.
Looking for Lincoln school subs or district subs.
If there is one holiday gift Lincoln and all of D303 could use this year, it's more substitute teachers. With COVID-19 diagnoses on the rise, but also strong protocols in place to keep students, staff, and families safe, absences are on the rise. If serving as a substitute teacher is something you would be interested in doing not only at Lincoln, but at other schools across our great district, here's some information for you:
It takes more adults to operate schools safely for students during the pandemic. District 303 currently has numerous job openings in a variety of job categories. If you are looking for temporary, part-time, or full-time employment, please visit the D303 Human Resources page to apply for a position.
One of the more flexible positions available is that of a D303 Substitute. You can choose to work, or not work, as your schedule permits. Take a moment and read the Substitute Handbook to see what this job entails.
If you are interested and hold a:
Bachelor's degree in any field you would qualify to apply for a substitute license with the state which allows you to sub for teachers or teacher assistants. You would apply using THIS link.
Associate's degree you apply for a Paraprofessional license which only allows you to sub for Teaching assistants. You would apply using THIS link.
High School diploma you have to take an aptitude test with the KANE ROE office. Once you pass that, you apply for a Paraprofessional license which only allows you to sub for Teaching assistants. You would apply using THIS link.
