What's Been Happening at MCE?
Family Night Under the Lights
September 22nd
Thank you to all of our families for coming out for this annual event! It was a beautiful ending and a great way to end a busy week. I always enjoy seeing the MCE staff, students, and families interacting and having fun outside of school. Can you move a cookie from your forehead to your mouth without using your hands? These boys couldn't either but sure had fun trying!

MCE Attendance Goal
All schools in the MCR-2 School District have the goal of 95% or higher average student attendance. Thank you for helping us met this goal for the months of August and September. It is important for students be at school as most of the learning at the elementary level involves hands on activities, group discussion, and investigation that can not be reproduced at home. When possible, please plan appointments and trips for Monday. We understand that some absences can not be avoided, if you child is sick or must miss school, please call the office and let us know.
Morning Drop Off
Update
If you need to get out of the car to unbuckle your child's car seat or want to give them a good bye hug, please use the drop off lane closest to the building. This will reserve the lane further away from the building (along the parking spaces) for parents and student drivers who need to keep moving to make it to their next destination or have students who do not need assistance.
Thank you for helping us meet everyone's needs!
Change of Plans?
Please send a note.
If you need to change your child's afternoon transportation plans, please send a note. If you need to call the office to change transportation plans, please make sure to call before 2:00 pm.
