Message from Assistant Principal Cruz
Parents, welcome back and thank you for supporting and trusting us with your child's education and safety. If you are new to Wrightsboro, a special welcome to you. We're glad you are here. It's been a great start for all of us here at Wrightsboro and I am glad to see all those smiling faces again. I didn't realize how much I missed that.
There are always the expected hiccups with transportation and I thank you for your patience. Our bus department has been working hard this past week to get everyone who needs a bus on a bus. Keep in mind that pick up times and drop off times are going to change slightly as new students are added to the routes. Our buses are quite full and the routes take a while to complete. Small issues do happen that cause a delay so the bus app, EduLog, is a great way to keep track of your child's bus.
Morning car drop off seems to be going very well, cars don't wait long if they wait at all. Afternoon pick up takes a bit longer, but I have a couple of tips that will make the process a bit quicker. First, have the car tag with your child's name hanging from your mirror. Second, the parking lot is busy, please stay in your car. We'll bring your child to you curbside. If you need time to help your child buckle up, go ahead and park or pull up all the way to the end of the sidewalk. And lastly, please do not cut in the line, drive around to the end. Your patience is appreciated.
I'm looking forward to another great year at Wrightsboro. Together we can make this happen.
