LV Professional Studies Students are heading to Phoenix for their 1st place win!
We are thrilled to announce that Mrs. Rich’s Professional Studies group has taken 1st place – Award of Excellence in the prestigious SchoolsNEXT Design Competition, an international challenge hosted by the Association for Learning Environments (A4LE)!
This talented team of students worked tirelessly to design a learning environment of the future—a school that prioritizes sustainability, innovation, and student wellness. Their visionary concept, E-STEAM High School, integrates Education, Sports, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Medicine into a dynamic and immersive campus, reimagining what learning can look like in the 21st century.
After months of research, collaboration, and creative problem-solving, the students delivered a 20-minute live presentation to an international panel of architects, designers, and educators from around the globe. Their passion, professionalism, and powerful storytelling earned them top honors among competing teams worldwide. Throughout the project, the team partnered with architects from Hollis + Miller, whose guidance and professional insight helped elevate the design to an award-winning level.
Next stop: Phoenix, Arizona! Mrs. Rich’s team will proudly represent our school and community this October at the A4LE International Conference, where they will share their project with global leaders in education and design.
We couldn’t be more proud of these innovative young minds. Congratulations to Mrs. Rich and her remarkable students for showing the world what the future of education can be!

Vaccines Required for incoming 8th graders
Individual emails were sent this week to students who are non-compliant with their immunizations. If your child has had their 11-year-old vaccines, you may submit them via email or drop off a record at school.
If you need any help figuring out how to get the immunizations your child needs, I would love to help you. Just contact me.
